Quote ="Humphrey"My experiance of the challenge cup final was a bit mixed. Been for the last 3 years now and never had any trouble but saturday was different. We went to the greyhound pub a few hours before kick off and the atmosphere was excellent and the wire fans were in full voice and good spirits. Once inside the ground we were sat with the wire fans and having some decent banter with some of them even though we were supporting hudds.
However a certain group of wire fans took great offence to us and started making cut throat gestures and jumping around and holding each other back trying to get to us. Just before half time the stewards threw them out but not before saying to our group that they were gonna kill us outside. Some of the lads who i was with are rather handy and even though they're wernt involved in the arguement got fed up of the death threats and went outside with them. Once outside the wire fans were like 'sorry lads we dont want any trouble can we buy you a drink' to which our lads just walked away from the t055ers.
I think they were just mindless idiots from warrington whos actually not been to a game bt went to cause trouble and when they found lads who werent gonna back down they 5h1t themselves.
Overall most wire fans were spot on but that incident has put me off them.
Once again wakey fans were out in force and i was talking to one hudds fan who was on about snowie and big al being great lads though at the time i didnt have a clue what he was on about'"
Thats nice, been telling you lot on here but you won't listen
