Two pupils at Outwood Grange School in Wakefield are in the process of fund raising for a trip of a lifetime in Australia. Jamie Robinson and Sam Applegarth, aged 16, who both also play for Oulton Raiders under 16s, are about to embark on a two month excursion to Rockhampton, Queensland.
This is a school scholarship exchange with Rockhampton High School, whereby the boys will stay with Australian families, visit their schools, and play for the school rugby league team aswell as sampling the delights of an Australian culture and lifestyle.
This is all self funded and the latest fund raising event takes place at the Vine Tree Pub in Wakefield on Tuesday 26th May.
