There's a pretty mean curry house on Barnsley Road at Busy Corner. Used to be the Sandal Court hotel, but it's obviously not anymore. I had one of the best curries I've had in there before a game. Not sure what time it opens though.
If you're going into town and fancy an Indian then go to Bolywood on Westgate.
Italian then try Quo Vadis on Westgate.
Chinese try Mama Gui you guessed it's on Wetgate (I'm a poet and did'nt know it)
Plenty of Pizza, kebeb and fast food jobies nearby also
All of these are 2 or 3 minutes from the train station if that's how you're travelling.
If you're in a car and fancy a proper dinner (Pie, chips, veg or a huge breakfast fry up) then go to the Redbeck Truckers cafe just outside Wakefield. Leave the club car park and turn right, go under the railway bridge and straight on for a mile and half. its on the right you can't miss it.
