I would agree with that, it seems that normally all the advantages of this system are with the SL club.
However, in this instance it's helping us through an injury so I'm not too bothered.

Do we even know if this is actually true yet? I know our website is notoriously bad but it's also not on the much more reliable facebook or twitter pages. It might not be on there because there's no truth to it.

So why not deny the rumours Stealth? That doesn't take much effort.

The Club may be or may not be trying to strengthen the squad.

They will make things public when they are confirmed if there is anything to make public.

They have no control over people who start rumours.

I appreciate both sides here, but let's be fair. The article on the DH website would suggest JD has commented about it so it's not a simple case of the rumour mill doing it's business through chinese whispers etc. I fully accept the club will not make things public when it's not 100% confirmed, but keeping the fans up to date is also key. A fine balancing act granted.

I've supported Keighley & the Cougars for over 50 years through good times (not many) and bad times. All that I'm saying is that if the Club actually want supporters to support the Cougars then why not keep them updated and either confirm or deny the comment?

Because rumours can not only be true or false but somewhere betwixt and between the two.

For example it would be laughable for the club to announce a deal before it has been done because of half truths and innuendo and then the deal not go ahead.

I don't see what all the big deal and fuss is about. If we get him then great, if we don't then we move on. Let's just all be patient and allow the club go through their processes in the correct manner before they confirm or deny this. There's no need for us to pressure them in to doing what could be the wrong thing.

I think the club have not only made another cracking signing but also gone about it the right way.

IE Releasing the info after paperwork is signed.

Strikes me half of the people on here could use their time more wisely by volunteering their services to the Cougars instead of being on here all the time.
