I keep up with all Cougars news down here in Devon and this has knocked the wind right out of me.

This is the most tragic news, my heart really does go out to his wife and young children. May they find the strength to get through this time and I am sure they will have the support of all those at Cougar Park

What can one say. He was a true gentleman and always had time for a chat with the fans. He was a game changer and a leader and loved it at Keighley. I have many fond memories of Danny and will forever remember him. Tonight my heart is heavy but my mind will flick through the memories he has given me. Condolences to his family and friends.

Devastatingly sad news, to lose a young man in the prime of his life, with such a young family. Am utterly heartbroken to hear this and my thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.



To think we get worked up about winning or losing a game, when tragedies like this put everything into perspective. The fact that he was such a talented, skilful, respected, well-loved and admired player, are absolutely no consolation, when a young guy ends up giving his life, for the game he loves.



RIP Danny Jones. Total respect for you as a man and player. And heartfelt condolences to your family. You will be sadly missed.
