Leigh are fortunate and I think their management have tried to pull a fast one, but regardless, the ball has bounced their way so good luck.

We've had some thrillers against Leigh in the past and I look forward to two more next year.

Leigh sign contracts with players. They can,t renege on them without risking litigation which would inevitably leed to them having to pay out those contracts in full without having the benefit of those players.

Wether they where arrogant in considering relegation a possibility perhaps they where but it happened and they could not go back on it.

My fellow Leyther Starbug hasn,t described me very well either. I do not wear a bobcap and next season I shall be wearing our new shirt.

My generosity is legendary and infact Starbug does owe me a pint but I would not mention it on the Leigh board because I,m too nice a person for that.

Chuffed that Keighley went up, and obviously chuffed that Leigh got the luck.

We deserve to be relegated, but we also deserve to be re-instated as Gateshead had a quality team full of Aussies and a proven coach with very to little income. It might sound scinical, but they are their own making, and i am pleased that they are at least to re-establish themselves in C1.

Now lets be brutally honest. A successful Leigh side can put 1000 on anyones gate, and you will find next season no different.

For mine, the Championship is THE best division in any sport. As already been stated, to score over 50% of the total points and be technically relegated would not happen in any sport or any other division in the RFL.

We all now know that 30 points may not be enough to stay up in this excellent league in which I am please two traditional teams in Keighley and Dewsbury will be part of next year !
