The event that killed the voluntary support for Keighley Cougars was the persecution, by the club, of Keighley Independant Supporters Association (KISA). It was nothing short of disgraceful.
I know we now have a different board, and people should move on, but i don't think they understand the strength of ill feeling that still exists amongst former KISA members. I was at the first meeting in the function room above the Vic - it was packed to the rafters with people wanting to help. These people would have raised tens of thousands of pounds for the club and raised the profile in the area, instead they were seen as a threat and an enemy and the board went to extreme measure to kill them off. Ok people , Fair do's ....It wasn't my intention to upset anyone , I do remember all the previous problems and was just seeing if anyone wanted to help , from your replies I have my answer and fair enough....people have long memories and will only be s**t on once , I understand and totally agree with everything you all say.
