Interesting stuff! Reading between the lines, they seem to want the welsh and french in, and a presence in the manchester area - but apart from Leeds and Bradford, not much interest in any other West Yorks teams.
Keen on two Humberside outfits, though.

That doesn't sound like where they play now.

Jim thats a reason I mentioned Crusaders, it specifically was for them being in Bridgend not in Wrexham, with them changing something as fundamental as that then nothing is safe.

My understanding of the franchise system is that a bid was looked at by an independent body and only then was a franchise given or declined, based on the fact no new franchise/licence was submitted and therefore the rfl alone waived this rule then whats the point of pretending it is independent of the rfl.

Whilst the rfl have publicy stated the frogs do have to reach a final may put a bet on that the rules will be altered to suit otherwise I see the frogs pulling out.
