Doubt it, the international break came along at possibly the worst time for Liverpool, they had racked up 4 at Old Trafford and 5 against Villa, yet scraped past Fulham? The true indication will come tomorrow, Man U's reality check will of sank in now and they'll be up for it, now they're back in 2nd for the time being.

And considering the comparison in monies spent at Liverpool and Everton, to see you Red lot playing for penalties in the cup replay was truly shocking. All that money spent on strikers and couldn't even beat a patched up Everton team at your own ground, on two occasions!

Today reminded me of when United beat Fulham a couple of years back, when CR7 scored that deflected (?) goal after a great run, then went running off to Heinze in the dugout.

I'm not saying we'll win anything or comparing our season to that, but today shown we do have some qualities of a championship side, and even if we don't go on to win anything this season. Suspose it was a good point when you consider how good Portsmouth have been playing lately but it now means Middlesbrough next week is a MUST WIN cause if we win we should have one foot in the PL next season but if we lose i think we will go down tbh as our run in after that is tough and we havent got any strikers who can score goals to keep us up

I kinda like 'Boro, they've really built off their academy, and it's good to see a manager with so much faith in homegrown players, but at the end of the day it's clear they haven't been good enough on a consistent basis, so I think they will go down. Always annoys me how they raise their game like 10 levels against the big 4, but roll over against dross.
