| York's Dante meeting this week and hopefully another cracking bet tomorrow
[u Duke of York Stakes[/u
Judd Street - One from left field in a competitive looking race like this. He's a useful sprinter on his day and showed he's as good as ever when running top class sprinters Joy And Fun, California Flag, War Artist and All Silent relatively close in a hot Group 3 in Dubai at the end of March. He'd previously shown good form at the track when victorious by the shortest of margins in a conditions race beating Carnival stalwart Star Crowned, ex-Ger Lyons Dohasa and listed winner Musaalem over 6f on firm ground. He showed good form last year when running Ancien Regime close on the AW and Ialysos who's also a top grade performer in big sprints at Sandown. Judd Street has a good record on faster ground with his last six wins all coming on ground described as good or faster. This race often goes to a big priced winner (The Kiddy Kid @ 14/1 and Utmost Respect @ 16/1 in recent years) and Judd Street will have conditions to suit in this years renewal.
Advice: 2pts Win, 1pt Place @ 40/1 (Bet365)

| Looking forward to York this week especially Friday as I'm goin..
Like the look of Forgotten Army in the last tomorrow, so far it's looking like a 16 runner handicap so hopefully be playing for the first 4, no doubt be a non-runner to cut it back to only top three though!
Anyway, this one from the Tompkins yard won it's 3rd and final start of last season beating an odds on shot from the Stoute yard. That runner up Verdant came out and won the other week very readily off a mark of 80. Forgotten Army makes it's handicap debut tomorrow off what could be a lenient mark of 70 looking at what it beat last time, the excellent William Buick in the saddle is another huge plus for me.
Will have a look on Tompkins website tomorrow morning to see what they say on there. Could be a good e/w bet...

| Posh Cracker 5.40 Naas meant to be a very promising 2 year old and looks a big e/w price at 10/1, assuming there are no withdrawls.

| You couldn't make up my luck!
At the post we was all set for a 16 runner handicap paying the first four places....then what happens? One plays up at the start and gets withdrawn making it a 15 runner handicap only paying the first three places.
Where does my pick Forgotten Army finish?

| upthecats I think it is my fault your tip didnt win. I watch on here a bit and usually you are very good with your tips and thought I would try that one today. However I am probably the most unluckiest person when it comes to betting so it is my fault it didnt win.
Only put 2 quid on though and won it back on Leicester win and Fulham draw ![Smile icon_smile.gif](//www.rlfans.com/images/smilies//icon_smile.gif)

Slide into the bookies and back Golden Shine in the 13.50 at Newbury, Channon's best 2 year old.

| I'm off to York tomorrow aswell!
Absolutely knackered from a couple of real tough weeks at work so only could be d to get a good look at the first 3 races.
So far I'm off with...
1.40 - Primo Lady (win)
2.10 - Drill Sergeant (ew)
2.40 - Kite Wood (Banker!)
All subject to change of course when I get to the course, get a copy of the racing post and get my paddock inspection goggles on.
The Wife will probably have more success going on horse names and Jockey's colours. ![Rolling Eyes icon_rolleyes.gif](//www.rlfans.com/images/smilies//icon_rolleyes.gif)

| Reve De Nuit isn't totally out of it as he was ridden all wrong at Newmarket last time out and has run a decent enough race off his higher all-weather mark since. Andrea Atzeni taking the ride is another positive and I wouldn't put anyone off taking the 40/1 with Victor Chandler.
I was very impressed with Turn The Tide when at Haydock a few weeks ago - especially physically as she's a very big filly for her age, very mature. The Kevin Ryan filly will be tough to beat and TTT is currently 4/1 with Hills.
Any rain will help Wajir in the Yorkshire Cup and he had very useful form with a good colt of the Aga Khan's (Manighar) last backend at Longchamp and that one has subsequently been sold to race in Australia. He's unproven on a quicker surface though.
Enderby Spirit is now 4lbs lower than when getting beaten by subsequent Abbaye winner Total Impact over a stiff 6f at Newmarket though he ran moderately on his return to action and probably needed the run. Barry McHugh rides York's sprint course very very well so Baldemar is also of great interest and after todays victory for Johannes the Fahey horse Sunrise Safari looks a worthy favourite.

| I like Wedding March 5/1 at Newbury 2.55
Another one of Fabre's which has switched to Godolphin over here, romped its first race over in France the interesting one is the 4th in a Group 1 at Longchamp behind the smart Rosanara and Joanna who beat an off form 1,000 Guineas winner Special Duty last time out but Evading Tempet who came 2nd in that has boosted it by coming out and winning a Group 3, it might need the run but looks a prospect.

| Had an early look at the football world cup and like the look of these three bets;
Brazil to win 5/1
Brazil vs Spain final 11/1
David Villa top scorer 10/1
Thoughts?

Been pulled this but goes at Goodwood next Weds so will be looking to get on again.
Been given heads up on some of Brittain's runners again
York
Quote Breedj shows good natural speed and I know vibes from the stable are confident ..... been putting a lot of work in with her after her debut and she's progressing at a rate of knots!! As with all of the stable she was in desperate need for her first run, set off blazing the trail and just ran a bit too green for her own good tiring towards the last furlong when joined and passed but a good show was expected to get her right for this. She will be off to Royal Ascot after this to get competitive in better company and she is off to York for the win ..... really expecting her to run a big race.
Expect a big improvement and the tactic is simple - get out the traps first and she'll be hard to pass.'"
1.40 - Breedj - 5/1
4.20 - Al Muheer - 16/1 E/W
