Think Manley will stick at it as he said in his interview he does not really need the prize money in a way someone like Webster does because he is demand for exhibitions and PR stuff with Bet Fred which perhaps has dulled his edge in tournaments. Thought he might have re-found his edge at 2 up but perhaps it has gone for good which is a real shame as a run to the semi's would have kick started a revival I am sure but his loss could make way for someone like Webster to really establish himself with the PDC and be one of the players to watch next year.

Actually I think it shows the PDC as the better organisation if there are only 2 players over in the Boring Darts Organisation that another player would want to come over.

The BDO on the other hand would want every player the PDC has.

As it always has been since its inception.

Not sure the PDC can take the higher ground by much as two of the quarter finalists are recent converts from the BDO so top 3 apart there is probably not much in terms of standard between the 2 organizations.

Sid Waddell saying none of the BDO players would make the last 8 in the PDC rings a little hollow considering how well Webster and Whitlock have done and how Tony O'Shea did in Wolverhampton.

Think the likes of Jenkins, Hamilton, Baxter and Lloyd prey a merger will never happen as their places near the top of the rankings would be very vulnerable.
