Just saw that on the club's website, what will this mean for the future of the club? It does not sound good.

It's not totally new. I recall that twenty years ago when Dulwich Hamlet had a ground with a nominal capacity of 10,000+ the local Police Force Big Cheese decided we should be subject to the same criteria as Football League clubs and should have a Police Control Room within our ground for crowds of 250 or so. We found a way around it somehow.

FC beat Ilkeston 3-1 last night, fantastic performance, we're starting to look good again now. It won't last!

It's no comfort I know, but you're not alone. Rushden have transfer listed all their players and Salisbury are close to the edge. Rumours persist around Weymouth and Oxford as well. And Northwich for that matter.

Having thought about it a little more, the historical debt of the club basically means we'd have to go bust and re-form as a fans-run side, as I understand it. Delighted with the response of everyone concerned though, there's a rule spirit to work together and make things work.

FC United won away at Worksop Town yesterday, 3-0, to advance to the Third Qualifying Round of the FA Trophy.

You know when you absolutely batter a team, get nothing from it and then, with their only attempt of the game, they get a late winner?

Our game on Saturday had 0-0 written all over it.
Hence we lost 1-0 to an 85th minute penalty. Fudging muddy flippers.

3-0 loss for our kids against North Ferriby today; only 3 senior players in the side of which 1 re-signed only the other day after previously leaving in the summer.

As daft as it sounds, the signs of improvement are there and hopefully we'll start picking up points again sooner rather than later.

Some FA Cup results from today involving non league teams i think Curzon Ashton is biggest shock,Carlisle scored late on to get a replay against Grays and Histon third in BSP knocked out Swindon.
Those are biggest shocks imo sorry if i have missed any.

You missed without doubt the biggest one in Blyth Spartans of Blue Square North beating Shrewsbury 2-1 while Droylsden got a draw at Darlington and Telford drew with Southend. Good year for the underdogs.


Surprised the odds were as short as that, but I think we're getting there; obviously a massive step up from reserve level for most of the lads.

Blyth actually won 3-1. They deserve to have their 3rd goal mentioned.

Don't know why I put 2-1 as I was well aware that they were 3-0 up at one stage

Went to watch Atherton LR play Darwen in the NWCFL League Challenge Cup. Good game of football, Darwen got two questionable penalties in the first half, scored on of them and hung on to the lead until around ten minutes to go. LR then scored two quick goals, much to the disgust of the visiting supporters.

Sounds like a better game than the one I went to:

Since I said Chorley had been playing better I think they've lost every match,they looked like they could challenge for the playoffs but relegation is now looking more likely.

Average age of our starting eleven was 18.5 at Whitby today, but we still managed to equalise twice to get a 2-2 draw that might have even been 3 points if luck had been on our side, absolutely fantastic day out!

Great week for Salford.

We beat Curzon Ashton 3-2 at their place in the UniBond League Presidents Cup on Monday and then beat Mossley 3-2 again away yesteday. On the downside Harrogate Railway Athletic won again stying 6 points ahaed but we'ev got 3 in hand. Radcliffe have now taken the scond bottom slot 5 points above us. We've got a tough game against Clitheroe at home next Saturday.
