AC Milan are a pretty poor side. Yet in the two games against United he was a constant, big threat against us, for his crossing/passing more than anything, and we have the best defence in the Premier League.

You laugh, but with Brown struggling, Neville will be considered. Especially with him playing more regularly now for United than he has done for years.

I wouldn't take him though, but wouldn't be at all surprised if he goes.

I'm dreading tonight, as always with Monday night games. A lot has been said in the past by premier league managers about playing after the big clubs, I think it makes sense. I remember Mourinho used to moan about playing after United in the title race, as he felt it added more pressure on his players to get the performance. I feel the same with us and it isn't surprising to see we've never won a Monday night game under Benitez. Tonight we have to put that right, we've been given a slight chance with City slipping up, but we can't afford to throw chances away.

The Torres stuff is all common sense, we know he's a motivated lad and failure to secure CL football could force him to leave the club.

As for Aquilani, his treatment has been shambolic IMO. Problem is, the side just aren't playing well and he won't be able to change that instantly, that is Rafa's fault as he should be well and truly settled in the side by now, but he's still lacking 'match fitness'.

Megson is going to rule himself out, Sacking Brown now is a joke anyway.

They were a goalkeeping howler away from taking a point against Arsenal.

The last two away results were dreadful and probably caused the sacking, but TBH no matter what manager they get they are always going to be in a similar position.

I think Brown is a bit of a pr1ck, but he got Hull City into the PL, he kept them up in their first season and he could've still kept them up this season. Foolish to get rid of him IMO. He's unlucky to be fired and the timing of the firing is stupid. Hull deserve to go down now.
