Just doing my 1st ever fantasy team on NFL.com, just wondering if anyone could give me any advice? also how many players do you draft?

Well it's all fun and games for the Chargers this off season.

VJ needs to get a grip. He had a great season last year, but is an idiot off the field. He was banned from driving and got pulled over whilst driving to the Jets playoff game. He has a 3 game ban for being an idiot last year and getting in trouble with the police (his 2nd DUI). Now he wants to be paid Marshall money. It is never going to happen. I can see him ending up in Washington or Seattle. He's backed himself into a corner with AJ Smith.

Shawne Merriman has come out this week and said he is not turning up fir camp until he receives assurances that the D will be built around him. Sorry Shawne, but you are not the force you were 2 years ago. You have slot to prove. Get yourself to camp, work hard, prove your back and earn a big contract; either with SD or elsewhere.

Marcus McNeil is the one hold out where I think AJ may pay him. The reasons for this are two fold. One, he hasn't come out shouting his mouth like Merriman (who did sign his tender) and has no off field issues like Jackson. The only concern is his health. Plus the depth isn't there as much as with the other 2. WR there us Floyd, Nanee, Davis and some talented UDFAs; at OLB there is Philips, English, Tucker & Applewhite. At LT there is Domrowski who is a back up at best and Tra Thomas who is past his best. My prediction is Big Mac will be signed up by game 3 of pre season.

Other than them there are lots of things to look forward to this year. First and foremost is Ryan Matthews. He has huge shoes to fill, but all the reports are that he's up to it. It's a big year for Cason at CB. First round pick from 2 years ago and this is his chance to show be has what it takes after losing his job at nickel midway through last year. English too looks like pushing on. With the Merriman saga he should get serious game time. Also looking for rookie production from Cam Thomas, Daryl Stuckey and was excited about Butler before he was ruled fir the year.

All in all I can't wait for the season to start and can see the Chargers fininishing 12-5 / 11-5.

IMO the Chargers will struggle. The running game is being put in the hands of a rookie and a guy who couldn't beat out a pensioner for the job. Outside Jackson (Who's suspended) and Gates, there is little to fear with the passing game. The D-line doesn't scare me at all, especially the lack of a proven Nose tackle.

And yes, i am a completely biased Raiders fan.

Fair points, but Philip Rivers is the Chargers passing game!! Floyd and Nanee will do the job. Plus Gates is phenomenol!
You're right about the d line, but it's the same personel that won 11 straight last year. A years more experience plus a true NT albeit in the Rookie Thomas.

The Raiders had a solid draft, which for me was massively over rated because it's the Raiders. I think a lot of pressure is on Campbell, he's being classed as the saviour despite never really living up to expectation in DC. All in all you're lot should improve - and I hope you do. I'm sick of the afc west being classed as soft. Hopefully developments in Oakland and KC will see the tide turn. I wish nothing but bitter disappointment for Denver though! I hate the Donkeys!

It is with everything they have to show, MNF + Classic matches, the 30 for 30 documentaries which are brilliant, a load of football if that interests you, then stuff like college football, NBA, MLB.

Not too fussed about NBA and I dislike baseball, but £2.50 a week for all the football programmes isnt bad at all. I'll check it out tomorrow .

Anyone with NFL Gamepass been automatically charged for this season?

Got a surprise when I just logged onto my online banking account and noticed that £155 had been paid out. I'm not so bothered about it as I was going to get it again this year (and apparently I'm getting it for about 20 quid cheaper as a re-subscriber) but still thought it was a bit sneaky of them to have an auto-renew option which I seem to have missed when I signed up last year.

Seems like Revis is demanding some serious wonga. Apparently him and the team are $40 million apart and one offer they have made is a 10 year $120 million contract. I hope he holds out and the team stand firm and doesn't crumble.

Maybe players will learn to honour the contracts they sign then.

On Sports earlier it said Ravens/Panthers pre season game is on ESPN America tomorrow night but my TV guide isn't going that far at the minute for some unknown reason, be good if it is true then I can watch that and the Patriots at the same time.

Silly thing is if he has another year like he did last year he will get his deal and maybe more, the Jests are playing this one perfectly IMO because this could be just a one season wonder type of player, I realise hes been good before but not as good as last year(which is what he and they value him by). He will either play this year and earn a new deal or have a shocker and not get as much or hold out like a plonker and get traded to Oakland

. Either way the Jests hold all the cards and not the player which is how it should be IMO.

In a way its a similar situation to Randy Moss for in the fact that he needs to work for a new contact, everyone has seen how good they are/can be but they need to earn their next contract now not with past play.
