Another week, another Bootle win, Chadderton were the victims this time at Bucks Park. First half goals from Anthony Hickey & Carl Dale (pen).

Seen Carl out last night & he was still buzzing with his penalty.

3-3. 2 down after 18 minutes when we looked absolutely abysmal. Changed a couple of things and it started to work. Got ourselves 3-2 up just after the break and then conceded a really crap third. Both sides looked good going forward and poor at the back. Could have been half a dozen each.

Superb win today for Bootle in Vase, went behind 1-0 early on after some shocking defending let ball across the area for their striker to tap home, things got worse as Carl Dale was taken off injured soon after. Anthony Hickey, playing well out wide, beat the full back and finished well near post. In second half the return of Andy Fowler for Bootle, looked very lively for ten minutes before being sent off, dived in but was never a red card a yellow would have done, however, Mr Pedantic in the middle took exception. After a shocking piece of diving, which the ref fell for, by their keeper, Bootle got a penalty only for the excellent Paul McDonald to put it wide. So into extra time.
And after a uneventful first half big Paul Mc up front converted a free kick with a bullet header to send Bootle into round two, there was just enough time for Paul Mc himself to see red for a second yellow. All in all a good afternoon, 3 goals, missed pen, two reds, shiit load of bookings and one of the worst refereeing performances seen in a long long while.

Zip-zip at home to Cambridge yesterday. Nothing happened. Waste of 90 minutes.

5-3 win at home to Witton Albion, fantastic performance. Just a shame we let two soft goals in at the end - only we could make such a comfortable win look so close.

Well we lost/got shut of our manager Gary Fellows on Monday and we've gone on to beat Gresley Rovers 2 - 0 in the FA Trophy on Saturday *Shock Horror*

. I'm sure thats as far as our winning run will go as we're away at Colwyn Bay tomorrow night.
