If that time is correct it is very interesting as Droopys Carvalho and Corrig Vieri both shot clear at the start and never went near another dog.

Can not wait for the report in the post tomorrow.

He got Tr 1 in his Semi but also got Droopys Carvallho

Apart from that not too bad

Leighton, can you stick these in Derby thread so i dont have to wade thru the footie rubbish Laughing

Farloe Lee was very unlucky not to pick up Droopys Bogart and was well clear of him at the pick up (beaten a nose after coming from 4 or 5 lengths back...shame it was not the Beele Vue judge or i would have collected!!!!).

Today Bogart has the best of the draw but with Lee improving race on race and being drawn outside him it is game on.

Eye on the Storm was very impressive too and will make them both work but hopefully Westead Bolt will pressure him and take advantage of his first ideal draw in the competition.

For once it is an ideal spread of greyhounds (3 railers, 1 middle, 2 wides) and there was very little bother in any of the races today so it should be a classic.

The Guru had a great time again mixing with celebrities....well Gary Newbon anyway

Not got a firm opinion on the dogs or bitches 480 competitions yet but like the look of Micks Ginger in the 416 (7/1 with Hills best price but some firms yet to price up).

Got through but got suffed by Droopys Carvalho (3 and 3/4 lengths) and as Corrig Vieri went out think they will finish 1-2 in the final alas with Buffalo Vieri a gallant second.
