I was at that game as a neutral. It didn't seem to be trouble as such, but some visiting supporters encroached onto the running track after Bradford's second goal was scored by one of their ex-players. I couldn't tell what, if anything, people on the home bench were doing, but that ground isn't really suitable for four figure football crowds with its lack of fencing and barriers. BPA looked pretty tasty, but I would imagine they'll have a lot of ground improvements to make if they're in a position to challenge for promotion to Conference North.
I also saw Guiseley 1 Matlock 1 in the Northern Premier League on Bank Holiday Monday - Matlock were by far the better side until they took the lead early in the second half, they Guiseley suddenly woke up and equalised almost immediately and the remaining half hour or so was a pretty exciting contest.
Having spent the following week in Blackpool for the Lancashire v Surrey match that was abandoned without a ball being bowled, I took in the FA Cup tie between Lancaster City and Salford City on Saturday, with Salford coming from a goal down to win 2-1 with a goal in the fifth minute of stoppage time. A bloke in the main stand was asleep before the match had even started!
Then, having taken in Bradford PA on the Monday night, it was back home to see my own team Dulwich Hamlet win their FA Cup replay 2-1 at Broxbourne Borough the following evening. A guy who attends games in the London area taking photographs was there. Photographs on his website linked here:

That pretty much sums it up. One of the lads who actually did go up and push the BPA manager has admitted that he actually knows him and has past history with him - daft get should've known not to bother.
All been dealt with now, onwards and upwards. Eastwood Town at Gigg Lane tomorrow... If it's on. ![Rolling Eyes icon_rolleyes.gif](//www.rlfans.com/images/smilies//icon_rolleyes.gif)

| FC lost 4-3 at Prescot Cables yesterday. 2-0 down, 2-1 down, 3-3, then conceded the fourth as we were pushing for the winner. We still had time to hit the bar, though.
And it was also nice to see the scouse gene-pool was as intelligent and varied as ever.

Wireless were a good craic when they came to Leigh t'other week (and, yes, we did beat them ![Wink icon_wink.gif](//www.rlfans.com/images/smilies//icon_wink.gif) ) but I suppose the FC factor tends to bring out the local numpties, does it not?

Got it in one. Rumour afterwards was that Everton were knocking about, but who knows...

| Anyone off to games today?
Bootle are at Atherton today, FA Vase qualifying game. Handy trip, not too far and in with every chance. Play like we did last week against Buxton and we should do well for ourselves.

We line up with a lone striker, huff and puff for an hour. Decide to start playing, create loads of chances and give a stupid one away at the other end. 1-1.
Probably summat like that ![Very Happy icon_biggrin.gif](//www.rlfans.com/images/smilies//icon_biggrin.gif)

| Just got back from a lacklustre 0-0 draw at home to Worksop Town. We really, really should be beating teams like that. Ah well, I'm sure we'll hammer Ossett Town on Tuesday night at their place, seeing as I won't be there.

Well at least you didn't have far to travel to see your lacklustre 0-0 draw! I saw Dulwich Hamlet achieve a similar result away to Ashford Town - round trip of well over 100 miles, their ground is four miles out of town on a main road with no bus service and no pavement; Ā£8 each way in a cab (fortunately several of us were sharing one on the return leg), and just for good measure I've got a right b@stard cut on my finger after a door slammed on it on the train journey from my local station this morning. I probably should have diverted to Guy's Hospital at London Bridge station to have it sorted properly but i didn't want to miss the game, so a tube of ointment and a packet of rather inadequate plasters from Boots at Waterloo had to suffice instead. (Makes it bleedin' awkward typing too!)

I was a bit off. It was 70 minutes before we started playing and we didn't create loads. Still drew 1-1 though.
