In the RLFans league I need just under 30 points from Ryan Torain,Marcedes Lewis,Javon Ringer and the Redskins D to win, my opponents has finished.

In the TDUK league Im 3.38 points up with Austin Collie left to play against the Titans D so that may be close if Collie is still banged up!

I need i think 15 to win in the RLFans league. I only have Keny Britt to go. He was predicted 20 points but i'm not entirely confident.

I'm up in the TDUK league by 20. I'm coming good in that league now. I just had a terrible few weeks where only Best did anything for me.

I'm not so sure - I've seen much dirtier hits than that. It looks like a bad one but I don't even think it was a direct helmet to helmet hit - most of the contact seems to be on the shoulder.

Played the Crewe Railroaders in a scrimmage yesterday, boy am I sore this morning.



We came in expecting them to try and bully us, and it ended up being the other way round! Playing cover 1 as a corner, when you've injured their QB in the first 5 plays means that they just run it. Had outside contain all day, and apparantly sent a lineman flying. Will need to check the game film on that one.

My mate wants me to go down for the try outs for a few local teams in the off season, but my playing days of anything are behind me a the ripe old age of 28!

Most O-linemen in BAFACL are in their 40-50s. And the Surge have a reciever in his 60s.



Most teams are dominated by players age 30-45 i'd say.

I'm sick of the Chargers, all the talent but no killer instinct, and that comes down to one man......Norv. Get him out ffs. I can see our season fizziling to 7-9 now and missing out on the playoffs. Hopefully that will be enough to see the back of Norv, re-load in the draft and win it all in 2011 with Gruden at the helm.

I've got to agree with this. This is why the "4th quarter comeback" stat is so interesting.

Pretty much what I said elsewhere - Robinson actually lowers his head to avoid it being helmet to helmet, the concussion for Jackson is as a result of the whiplash and his head hitting the ground.

Kolb lead him into a world of trouble with a high throw across the middle, Dunta is throwing himself at him to try and knock the ball loose IMO.

Still, this is the NFL under Goodell where any physical contact with any "star" player is banned but you can pump yourself full of whatever masking agents you like to avoid failing drug tests.

Funny how the Vikings suddenly can't stop the run now the NFL have got wise of the Williamses...

I agree with you regarding drugs cheats and the Williams sisters its a joke that they have been able to get away with it so long and still continue to do so! They will have retired before they actually get a ban

I'm correct though. It isn't just as simple as win and the QB is praised. Lose and it is his fault.

Last week Rodgers put us in the position to win in the fourth quarter. Crosby missed the kick.
Yesterday Rodgers scored with 13 seconds left. A poor punt gave them the position to win.

I thought we'd lose yesterday (I picked against us in the PickEm league and said so on here) given our injuries, but that is no excuse.

We need to turn around our form in fourth quarters which is worrying but i don't see that defeat being because Rodgers isn't "clutch".

Three defeats by three game ending field goals shows we aren't far away from being the team we should be despite our issues in each game. We have a tough run in to the bye week so we really need to get rolling soon.

Rodgers is a supremely gifted quarterback and one of the league's top 10, but the best have this in their locker. It will come in time as you have to remember he is basically in his 3rd season. It really is though most of the time, nobody remembers injuries/ bad play from other positions very often but QB`s are always remembered for there ability/non ability to make game winning comebacks/ get them into position for winning FG`s.

Its a QB`s league with all the praise they get, deserved more often than not they have to come in for stick sometimes too.
