Emptied my ladbrokes account, all £14 of it and banged it on Wigan at 11/4. They gonna beat us sometime and I fear tonight is the night.

I quite fancy it too but I'd never bet on us to win or lose. Too unpredictable. Bet on Gaz Hock to score anytime though.

I have also had a dabble on this with Ainscough been first try scorer. To tell you the truth, with the healthy profit I have made on 2 seperate four folds (well ones come through, need Sheff U to win to complete the other), and a single on leeds United and backing the handicap on higgins and Allen been 10+ to Allan, don't really care if it comes off or not






Going to finish work tonight and have a couple of pints in whichever pub is howing Hatton versus and "Manny". Wouldn't even dare bet on the event though, but good luck to all who have.

Backed a couple of quid on Robertson to win 17-14...17-15....and 17-16.

Expect Murphy to win but because of the double I have on, and the way the game is going, wasn't going to risk it and just backed it up with a couple of quid on those scores.

Coventry (+17) v Wolverhampton looks an amazing head start in tonights Speedway and even a few quid at 14/1 a Coventry outright win could happen as in all likelihood the track will not be at its best after todays morning rain and that might even matters up a touch.

I have no idea on Speedway but i've just seen Coventry are 1 Point in front of Wolverhampton, I don't know how the scoring or anything works, What's the chances do you think?...

Well it's over 16 races and the maximum a side can get in a race is a 5-1 win (3pts 1st, 2 2nd, 1 3rd 0 for 4th).

Coventry so far this season away have.....


Won 47-43 at Peterborough (Cup)

Won 46-44 at Ipswich

Lost 56-39 at Swindon

Won 63-32 at Poole

Lost 59-35 at Peterborough


In a pre-season friendly they lost 52-41 at Wolves

There is the added complication (but bonus possibly to Coventry is if you fall 10 points behind you can nominate a rider to earn double points so if he wins and his teamate is second you get an 8-1 points score from the race).


I think on a bad day Coventry lose by 20 if they have a good day a narrow win or defeat is possible and without going OTT I think a 17 point start is well worth taking. remeber it is a local derby and live on Sky so even if they drop behind early they will not want an embarrasing defeat and they have quality in Harris, Kennett and Schlein who all average over 9 points a meeting and even Allen averages 8.6 so hopefully those 4 will get nearly enough to win on the handicap.
