I hadn't read the Daily Mail report. I just remembered discussions on here a while back and it was said that something was going to happen tonight.
I think it was a wise decision not to carry out the boycott. Tonight turned out to be an absolute stroll for United. An easy path into the next round and an opportunity to welcome Beckham back to OT. It could have been a completely different atmosphere, and then a completely different game, had there been a huge boycott. |

No surprise to see Beckham jump on a bandwagon to increase his popularity among the Rag masses. By donning the Norwich scarf, he knew it would be featured on the TV and newspapers, thus maintaining his profile.
I am glad that the Milan / Utd match is over. The whole Bckham thing was tiresome. He appears to think of himself as a United legend. Has no-one told him that He was by far the weakest player in United's midfield at the time, way behind Scholes, Keane and Giggs.
Hopefully Barca will draw Utd in the next round.
