To sign a youngster from a Frnech team, the buying club need to have an ITC (an interntaional clearance form, of sorts). City went ahead with the signing of Jeremy Helan after receiving an ITC. Le Harve are claiming that City were sent the ITC by the FFF in error.

I see that most of the articles on this subject have not mentioned this fact. Le Harve are claiming that Helan broke the contract he signed when he was 13! Like many fans, I know I am biased but it does appear that the only ones who have done anything wrong is the FFF or Helan.

I think it's pretty much an accepted fact that Platini has no love of the English game and the fact that their clubs are the money powers in world football.
