MVP is a nothing award really though isn't it? What's so great about an award for one person on the team when there's a Lombardi to be won.

Why do you and LFC continually bang on about it and Manning's victories then? It's not a nothing award. It is terribly biased towards QB's but it's still a hell of an achievement. Has Peyton Manning deserved all his victories, probably not but it's a QB league and he's a very popular player. Ray Lewis should have won it the season the Ravens won the SB but he was overlooked as he's a defensive player.

Which is why OPOTY and DPOTY are better suited awards imo, the MVP should be renamed something else and used exclusively for QB's, putting it on par with and leaving OPOTY and DPOTY for the outstanding seasons of other players who don't get the recognition deserved with the MVP award.

They could still get the #1 seed. If Atlanta lose to Carolina and Tampa beat New Orleans in the 6pm games and Chicago beat us they would be #1. Either way they will know what they need to do before they play us at 9:15, so i don't see how anybody can predict if they will rest/pull their starters.

I'm not good with odds but i assume +10 means they expect us to win by 10 or more? That is ridiculous odds in our favour.

Looks like the Seahawks can't decide whether to start with Hasselbeck or Whitehurst for the crunch game against the Rams.

Having practised all week with Whitehurst it will be a real knock to his confidence if Pete Carroll puts a patched up Q.B on at the start. I understand Hasselbeck's experience but he is past his best now,maybe a loss against the Rams would put them in a better position to pick up a decent Q.B in the draft.

Again though. We were ranked 30th in the league last year. We have added any experience this year. Just good kids or guys who have been unwanted by other teams. I can guarantee you at the start of the season every team we have beat will have expected to beat us.

Oh btw you do realise ATL and New Orleans have had the same schedule as us bar 2 games don't you and that we are on the same rotation? Just as Carolina have. So we have all played 14 identical games. Neither of those deserve a play off place either obviously.

Oh and one last thing. If we do beat the Saints tomorrow and things do go our way the NFC South will take half the play off births. Kinda sucky for NY, Green Bay isn't it

They've both beaten good teams though? i.e each other, Pittsburgh, Baltimore.

And if we beat the Saints today we will have too. We have been within a score of every "good" team that has beaten us since Blount came in. It's not like we've been blown out. The signs are there. We just need to push on. And had Talib not been injured against ATL we would have beaten them because he had shut White out in that game. It's only when he went off that they started to get a bit of momentum going.

Anyway, I like the Giants vendetta against us on here

Not a vendetta, just stating fact.I think it's refeshing to see a team rise using mainly the draft. Not nervous at all, I know the Packers will win.

Bloody inactives, had to make a last second replacement in the RLFans league before the final, and in my other league where i'm in the final, had to change my QB, RB and WR.

It must be the last year for him now. It will be strange without him in 2011 supposing the season is played. There have been a lot of memories from him and he'll be in the HOF no doubt. I doubt we'll see another QB like him ever again.

Im with sky and I know they let you get it for say 1 or 2 months but not sure if Virgin is the same to be honest, give them a ring mate and ask it will be worth it, you may even get a few super league games at the end of february
