It pains me to say this because he is my favourite player of all time but i don't think he'd be welcomed back.

He lost alot of support by the way he has acted, his leaving speech was emotional (and i was emotional watching it) and he came back a month or so later. I have no doubt if he'd have not retired he'd have been our QB for another year. When he un-retired we offered him the oppurtunity to come back but he WOULD NOT be guaranteed to start and would have to fight Rodgers- he seemingly turned it down and was pretty awkward with Rodgers (from what A-Rod has said).

Right then he wanted to go the Vikes but there was no way we would send him there. We could handle his swann-song in NY but to go to our rivals he has lost so much of the respect the fans have for him.

Not only that but it would be extremely direspectful to Rodgers to bring him back. Kind of saying we aren't over him. This is the Aaron Rodgers show and although heindsight is 20/20 we made the right call in going forward with Rodgers.

For that reason I wouldn't want him back for a 1 day contract.


As for our game tonight we started very slowly but picked it up from Q2. Rodgers was very good from then on. The exciting thing is we are not firing on all front offensively and still in the last three games have scored 85 and conceeded 10.
