33-28 at the minute, 5 consecutive drives went for highlight reel touchdowns at the start of the second half. Awesome to watch!

Imagine playing all those weeks to lose a bowl game because of a call like that! Disgraceful!

| Quote ="Nikaed"beat good teams though. With your schedule we'd be laughing. We play in one of the toughest divisions in football and have one the hardest schedules this year. We did throw it away though.'"
Early on we were poor yes. But after those early big losses to the Steelers and the Saints no one has stuffed us. We should have beaten Atlanta twice, (especially in the Georgia Dome. We threw the ball deep in the last 2 mins and Williams, I think, was pulled back on the 6 yard line. They then spotted the ball on the 11 yard line and we came up 6 inches short of the win). We were in the game all the way with Baltimore and was very unlucky with a PI call just before the half that gave them 40 yards and put them on our 1 yard line. They then went 2 scores up (ask West Cumbrian Rhino how bad the call was). We lost to Detroit a couple of weeks back yes, but again, Winslow scored a TD with about 2 mins left which was called back for OPI (The league has since said the call was wrong and it should have been a TD) we had to settle for the FG and they drove down field and took it into OT where they had 1st posession.
Now im not moaning about the refs. Everyone gets dud calls. Im just saying we were in all the games and could/should have been in the play offs now. This, as wel,l with the youngest team in the league and a whole bunch of starters on IR. We have played 22 rookies this season. Can anyone else say that?
Look out for us next season.
Oh, and the whole "weak schedule" crap is stupid. The Cheifs have had a weaker schedule than us and no one is banging on about them. Everyone knows that they rotate it and some years its not as hard as others. ATEOTD though we matched the top team in the NFC twice now and beaten a few decent teams.
Remember we were 3-13 last year and there were 29 teams better than us.

| Amazing end to the Music City bowl there! Scenes of pandemonium at the end of normal time!
Tennessee might have themselves a new Peyton Manning there with Taylor Bray, he looks awesome for a true freshman despite the picks!

Indeed - none of the Bucs 9 wins this season have come against a team who can finish with a winning record, the best any of them can do is the Rams who would finish 8-8 with a win on Sunday.

We really should have won comfortably that day as well. If not for our annoying habit to try and run out the clock by containing the offense with a lead we would already be in the playoffs. That game and the 49ers road game still annoy me thinking back to them.

Never in a million years - a player with four touchdowns won't win it, despite his brilliant yards per carry average this season and the fact that Thomas Jones has stolen touchdowns from him.

Cinci were classed as a good team when we beat them at their place
We will also have beaten the winner of the NFC west whoever that may be. The Rams in the last minute and have blown the Seahawks out 2 seasons in a row.
We have shut out the 49ers @ Candlestick and were the 1st team to do that to them since the 70's. We have gone to Arizona and although close in the end started to run away with it in the 3rd.
All in all regardless of if we get in the playoffs or not (which a couple of pundits are saying we will) it has been a successful season.

Think even the coaches are surprised how well you've done this year, Morris has been on record as saying it's work in progress!

| [size=150[u =#FF0000Some stats that may surprise you about the young Bucs:[/u[/size
- The Bucs are the 7th ranked rushing offense in the league
- Caddilac was our starting RB from weeks 1-7... we averaged 82.9 ypg (Half of which came from Graham and Freeman)
- Legarette Blount took over in week 8... we now average 148.5 ypg
- Blount has only started 7 games but has run for 941 yards averaging 5.2 ypc
- Josh Freeman has thrown the 4th fewest interceptions of all starting quarterbacks in the league (Big Ben, Cassell & Brady being the 3 with less)
- Only TWO quarterbacks in NFL history have had 5 TD/0 INT games before their 23rd birthday. Josh and some bum named Marino
- We are the 1st team since 1970 that has started 10 rookies and had a winning season
- With 924 receiving yards this season, Mike Williams has a shot at passing 1,000. No rookies have done that since Marques Colston
- Williams has also scored 10 TDs. Since the 1970 merger, only two wide receivers in NFL history have had 1,000 yards and 10 touchdowns in their rookie year (John Jefferson and Randy Moss).
- We are THE youngest team
Hope you enjoyed

Very much so. The youthfulness of the team means that even us fans dont know whats going to happen week to week. What we do know is that when these guys mature and become more consistent we will have a QB heading towards elite status and a hell of a good attack around him. The rest of the team will cut out the mistakes and as we add depth around our core things will only get better.
As a journo for NFL.com said earlier today. We will see far more 10-6 seasons than 6-10 seasons over the coming years.
The NFC South looks like it will be an awesome division for the next few years. Think of this... Freeman v Ryan v Brees home and away every year. Its mouthwatering.

I took it to mean he's a young guy with all the talent and ability in the world but is still very raw and makes those mistakes that Freshmen make.
I could be wrong though.

Sometimes when a player starts college they sit out their freshman year which is called redshirting. If they play football in their first year then they're a true freshman
