owen is ooc, but id rather go for doyle and welbeck
doyle - yes great option
dawson and turner would be class at centre back, but 7.5 is extortionate to me
welbeck would be great, id also like to see us move for Darron Gibson
Stephen Quinn - Good player, but we need more quality right across midfield and i dont know if he would be enough
Guitterez at his best is real quality, he would be a good signing
McShane is Ok, but id prefer Rickets at rb and he isnt convincing at cb
id like to see another goalkeeper signed and Myhill sold, i dont think hes good enough, and duke acts as very good cover. |

Chelsea have had a lot of success with Italian imports - Zola, Di Matteo, Vialli, Gullit (transferred from Sampdoria). Unfortunately they were all pre-Abramovich.
Since Abramovich Chelsea have had Schevchenko, Mutu, Crespo and Queresma. To say I am underwhelmed with Abramovich's Italian imports is an understatement.
Not convinced over Ancelotti myself. I think he's a mile behind the two best candidates for the job. Sadly the two best candidates are now ex-Chelsea managers. |
