| I'd rather have the schedule than Reynolds, Carldon or any loser the Beeb can muster.

| Embarrassing on special teams. We look like the Chargers of 2010. I'd love to see us pickup Plaxico Burress, would give us that big end zone target.

Our starters played like Idiots though. Your excuse is a backup LS.
Chargers have worried me. Impressed with the D - but it's basically SD vs D Mac. Red zone offense is terrible. Need that sorting.

| We've got a few days to assess Condo's injury, see if we need to sign a replacement then beat up on Ryan Tannehill to make everything feel better.

You should do that. Was well impressed by your Defence. They were put in terrible positions by special teams and kept us out. I think special teams in general need to be looked at for you - sharpish. Royal had a big return chalked off for a block in the back (I think it was on the play Condo went down).
From a SD perspective the defence was good, not sure how good it really is because (as I said earlier I think) it was basically Palmer and DMAC on their own against us. The UDFA WR did pretty well, but the only threat was a DMAC run, or a dump off to DMAC. I hate how well Palmer ALWAYS plays against us.

Your bait is getting less and less well disguised.
I've been busy hence not posting but I'll indulge you....
Here are my thoughts on the game. Our defence was absolutely terrible - worse than last year if it is even possible.
We couldn't stop the big plays (blown coverages, missed tackles, missmatches on defence (LB covering Moss)) and couldn't even stop the obvious stuff like runs. We have 2 possibly three brilliant players (Clay, Woodson and maybe Tramon Williams) but they are easy to gameplan against when the rest of the players play like crap. With our offence we don't need a brilliant defence. We just need a defence capable of making a stop every now and then and getting turnovers.
Offensively it was frustrating. It was a very stop start game for us and we went ages without possessions given the poor D. When we did have it San Fran defended well and frustrated us. The flags were late (note i'm not saying they were wrong) which also added to our frustration. With the D as bad as it is A-Rod needs to have the same standard year as he did last season for us to be in with a shout. I do think we'll come good on offence.
In the end the scoreline flattered us - never a TD for the Cobb return.
I think we will be better against Chicago but short of a miraculous turnaround in the D it will all be on Rodgers to win a shootout because we will not stop Cutler to Marshall and Forte. I could see a loss coming up.
As for Luck. Never said he was better than RG3. In fact i've said all along that RG3 will be the better QB but I expected Luck to be better straight away given he is more of a conventional type QB. There was always the chance with RG3 that he wouldn't be able to handle the hits straight away given his build, or his decision making would be suspect initially and he'd just take off running.
If Sunday is anything to go by he has no issues. He is a brilliant rusher, and unlike many other running QB's, he is a very accurate passer.

He will be pass first. He showed that a few times Sunday when he could've taken off. He'll scramble if he has to and he will keep plays alive but he has a rocket for an arm.
NFL network has been the RGIII show this week ![Cool icon_cool.gif](//www.rlfans.com/images/smilies//icon_cool.gif)

| Ignore the 49ers proclamations and have a read of this. Not only is it a good assessment of what was being mentioned on Sunday night's commentary, it's also a belting column.

| Ready for tomorrow Mark? ![Smile icon_smile.gif](//www.rlfans.com/images/smilies//icon_smile.gif) If our D wasnt a fluke last week it could be a close one. Whether we score points though is a different matter.

| It happens every game with every team
Ronde is experienced enough to know how and when and Talib isn't exactly a new kid.
We are giving up yards but were making the big plays too. It's a new aggressive D and you get the big plays against you, but you also make the big plays. 3 TOs and 21 points shows it
