| Quote ="Dan_FC"What did you make of the Drogba/Terry discussion going on after the match, if you saw it? Drogba clearly unhappy with how it was defended but Terry seemed to dismiss Drogba. I think he had every right to question it, after getting back infront and going into injury time it was criminal defending, how the whole backline just left Clark is unbelievable.'"
The TV was off at the final whistle. A bad weekend made worse by my team.
If all the players are behind Ancelotti they need to show it for 90 minutes, not a 5 minute period at the end. And then finish early because they think they've won.
I just think there's so much wrong with the way we play Ancelotti either hasn't got a clue or the players just want rid.
I didn't see it, but there was a comment about a big disagreement between Terry and Drogba during the Arsenal game.

Not as cringworthy as they greatest supporters in the world only getting 35,000 because they're in mid-table.
I could care less what the players do to celebrate when they score. I just wish they'd do it more often. The players who ran towards Ancelotti may desperately want him to stay as CFC manager and succeed. If that's their feeling I could care less if they ran towards him when they scored.
Better than doing what Ashley Young did, anyway. If you want to large it in front of opposition supporters you'd better be able to stand up for yourself if someone responds to your bait or a missile crashes into your head.

Can't say I'm surprised, that was a big blow. It was a debate about the defending by the looks of it, Drogba was pointing towards the goal and Terry was just waving it away trying to get off the pitch. Drogba went after him and put his arm around Terry but he didn't seem too interested. Although Drogba does have a point, it was woeful defending.

Well, it was Terry who made the initial run towards Ancelotti and started those celebrations the rest just followed so not sure if it shows anything tbh.

I am not a Kopite, no, and yes i agree with your sentiments regarding the dip in attendance at Anfield. I'm a Red Manc, and i would find it just as cringe-worthy if Rooney and co pegged it towards Fergie like that to be honest. I think the only team who i would think are proper bell-ends for doing it would be City, as if a team of Mercs gives a rats bum about Mancini

| In other news, The Canairies are flying in the Championship under Paul Lambert, a win today would see them second, three points off league leaders QPR.

brilliant to see The Canaries up where they belong in the upper half of division 2 - as a Norfolk lad it's great to see them doing well again - Paul Lambert is doing a fine job which means he will be poached for bigger things unfortunately.
just reminiscing here but I was there when The Canaries first clinched their first ever 1st division place - it was at Watford in the early 70s with Dave Stringer heading in the goal from a corner to earn a point to secure promotion - I was behind the goal and it was definitely one of those 'I was there when' moments...thank you Ron Saunders for building that team ...

| Adebayor going on loan to Malaga according to a few of the Spanish football people I follow on twitter. Seems unlikely but they do have big money backers now, so it's not out of the question.

If they're prepared to throw enough money at Ronaldinho he could come.
Ronaldinho could be worth every penny to Blackburn. He could be to Blackburn what Ruud Gullit was to Chelsea.
I think part of the deal in bringing in Ronaldinho would include a massive footballers house in Cheshire (or another footballers enclave closer to Blackburn) and an awesome apartment in London. All transport (including helicopters, planes and limo'd Maybach) covered by the club.

I still think it's ridiculous. Although Ronaldinho is one of the most talented footballers to ever play the game I doubt he would be able to be that successful at Blackburn given the standard of those around him. I don't see one-twos between Ronaldinho and Keith Andrews happening too often.
It's yet another case of new owners buying into a football club and trying to show off their financial clout with a signing that will get people talking about the club. Another case of new owners trying to make the club run before it can walk. Blackburn aren't a Premier League outfit as it stands. Their stadium and facilities are pathetic and they don't have enough supporters to ever be a meaningful side. Why not improve the training facilities and start the work on a new stadium with the £30m they are proposing to pay to a past it Ronaldinho (Despite how good he is) and Beckham.

| Another team doing itself no good is Man City. Another £30m spent on another foreign striker. Haven't we been here before? Do they expect anyone to give them any credit if they do ever find a manager that will make them win something? It'll only have cost them the GDP of the civilised world to do it.
The sooner they bring the financial regulations into football the better.

BRFC won't want to see one-twos between Ronaldinho and Keith Andrews. They'll want to be seeing one-twos between Ronaldinho and the 22 year old signing from Spain who wouldn't have even considered Blackburn Rovers if Ronaldinho wasn't in the side.
Quote It's yet another case of new owners buying into a football club and trying to show off their financial clout with a signing that will get people talking about the club. '"
Of course it is. But WTF is wrong with that? Practically every neutral and oppo fan would be interested how Ronaldinho got on in Blackburn. Playing against Blackburn would hold far more interest if Ronaldinho was in the line up rather than it was the functional outfit it is now.
Quote Another case of new owners trying to make the club run before it can walk. '"
You have no idea whether the bid from Blackburn is even genuine. They could simply be using an attempted signing of Ronaldinho as a way to generate publicity and a way to persuade decent, younger prospects that Blackburn is a good club to have a future with.
Quote Blackburn aren't a Premier League outfit as it stands.'"
STFU
Quote Their stadium and facilities are pathetic and they don't have enough supporters to ever be a meaningful side. '"
Three of the four stands are absolutely fine.
WTF is a meaningful side? Why does it take a certain amount of supporters to be meaningful? Were Clough's Notts Forest a meaningful side?
Quote Why not improve the training facilities and start the work on a new stadium with the £30m they are proposing to pay to a past it Ronaldinho (Despite how good he is) and Beckham.'"
Do you know what Blackburn Rovers training facilities are like?
What good would spending £30m on new training facilities and a new ground do if they get relegated this season?
£30m on Ronaldinho could transform BRFC and the club's future. £30m on a new ground and training centre could be money pi55ed down the drain.

Not for the impact of arguably the most well known and popular footballer's ever to play the game? Not to have one of the passes of ball ever to be able to come off the bench and change a game? or not for the commercial/marketing aspect that it could have on Spurs?
There's nothing odd or disturbing about it, I can't see how Spurs could lose out in this?

| Ronaldinho still has a couple of more years left playing European football with a good team.
But if all he really wants is a nice long contract with a big wage, all sorts of luxury treatment and to be the big fish in a small pond then he could easily instruct his agent to find him a club in the USA or middle east, where he could name his price.
If he actually does want to sample the Premiership then, with no disrespect, surely there would be 'bigger' clubs than Blackburn making a move?
As for Beckham to Spurs... they need something to help them push on and try and truly establish as a top 4 side - the hysteria his signing would bring (not to mention a possible debut against Man Utd) would be crazy and would surely be good for morale & keeping the younger heads calm.

Let me guess, a United fan?
All the United fans might get an erection at seeing their fantasy boyfriend back in the PL, but it would probably create far more of a distraction to what Spurs want.

| After his lay-off Beckham will probably be getting match fit after 7 or 8 games, which is all his loan spell would be given he has to be back in the US in March.
Spurs don't need to make a gimmicky signing like this and, complimenting their pacy attacking team, they have two players in Van der Vaart and Modric far better than Beckham at controlling the flow of the game if needs be. It would be a strange one IMO.
