Also, I have heard that Punchestowns is injured and won't be running in the World Series Hurdle. Don't know how true that is but maybe worth snapping up the 7/2 available on Fiveforthree.

Don't know anything about Punchestowns. Not spoke to my mate in a week or so but was confident of victory last time I spoke to her, anything bigger than 8/11 should be snapped up - has to beat horses he's already beaten.

Ruby rides which is a bit disappointing as I think PT gets on really well with the horse.

Others I might be tempted by are Westmead Osprey and Ja Mann but with 4 going through from each heat on Friday and Saturday unless any outsider posts a super fast time the odds will not change much and after seeing the 2nd round draw it's better to add some new picks if need be

Aside from backing the Hurricane i'll likely be backing Moskova provided the 8 runners stay in or look for betting without Cooldine and backing her first two in that market. She's an improving mare and although struggled last time out I think she'll come into her own at 3m.

How the guy can tip Howell III after capitulating on Sunday (and not for the first either). He's tipping a guy who plainly does not have the mentality to win tournaments. Surely even tipping e/w bets people should be looking to scoop the lot not backing him to be there in contention and limp to a 3rd or 4th place finish.

I guess thats why he isnt the main tip, but they still feel at 17.5/1 for a place its still worth a shot based on what they feel is his current form. Dunno! Thats why i posted the warning as id backed em all and then thought about that tip and went back to re-read justification and spotted it wasnt DT

Don't get me started on e/w betting but the words bookies benefit come to mind (especially golf with 150 odd runners each week) but betting e/w on a person the tipster admits probably won't win (Jeremy Chapman in the Racing Post did similar last week) is not the way to go. Better to cut down the tips and go for wins.
