| The Daley fight went just as i thought it would and you cant blame Woodley for taking it to the ground...Daleys one of the most exciting fighers on the feet imo but as usual brits always come out 2nd best to wrestlers...good that he showed some good take down defence though.
What now for Fedor?? Retire? Is that the end of his strikeforce contract?

| Just been watching the Alex Reid v Jason Barrett preview on primetime......what a load of tacky crap it is,its like watching WWE! Surely noones going to buy into that payperview?
Its exactly the type of 'show' that drags MMA down..proving the knockers right.

What an idiot he is...what is his actual role? Announcer?commentator?pundit?promoter? I cant work it out!
All i know is its not what MMA needs...BAMMA is alot more professional IMO.

All of the above.
He runs the show, and his own irritating style that I just dont get. Still see his shows as a Pikey Fight Fest to be honest and using The Troxy in London always gets bad reviews for the trouble within.
But hes on Sky Sports on his own show so must be doing something right.

Thats what gets me with skysports...they put that crap on but dont seem too bothered about the bigger promotions?
Surely they see the ufc/strikeforce as a bigger market! And would probably get it if they wanted it.

Just be thankful they dont. As soon as they do, UFC especially will instantly become a £14.99 PPV buy.

You reckon?
Dont mind paying 10quid for ESPN for UFC but thought if it was on skysports it would be in on the package as they wouldnt see it as a major sport hence no payperview???

| It will be interesting to see the PPV figures for this weekend compared to Strikeforce last weekend if they are ever released from Primetime.
And yes I think Sky would charge £14.99, in a matter of minutes of signing it up.

| Not had chance to watch either event yet but UCMMA is getting slagged off left right and centre after Saturday nights PPV card. The main event didnt live up to its billing, but I expected that anyway.
And UFC, well Tito was always been overhyped after one single win against a fading Bader, so happy to see Rashad finish him off. Read Vitor Belfort looked impressive but the talk of fighting Silva again for the title seems premature especially after the kicking he got last time !

Evans looked really sharp considering hes been out for so long..Tito looked beaten after the first round after taking a few shots against the cage..went into survival mode after that.
I was disapointed with Belfort Akiyama really, expected more of a fight but a good finish though.....was impressed with Rory McDonald, giong to be a star that one!!

| Looking forward to Dan Hardys fight on Sunday.... its now or never for him. A win, and hes back in the reckoning, a loss and its possible he will be off to Strikeforce / BAMMA / UCMMA... (hopefully not the latter).

I personally feel Hardy was given a title shot way to early and should have been tested by the likes of lytle before he even had a sniff of GSP. Its that, that could cost him his place in the UFC...theres lesser fighters who just coast along fighting lower ranked opponents and will have there contracts renewed as they end up win 1 lose 2...win 2 lose 1 etc.
Lytles no mug and even standing he wont get it all his own way...i can see a decision win but cant call which way it will go??

| Kimbo Slice wins his debut boxing match in 10 seconds against James Wade (he is 39 and was only his second fight, after losing his first). Kimbo's promoter is now talking him up of taking the heavyweight division by storm !!

| Was disapointed with Hardys one dimensional performance...that bloody left hook over and over again..and a couple of cringe worthy takedown attempts..never hardly covered up just letting lytle pick him off at will..a good fight for the neutral,as a supporter it was hard to watch..apart from one or two decent shots lytle never looked like losing that fight imo

| I just dont get Hardy anymore, really dissapointed last night. Becoming more and more a one dimensional British fighter when hes had the time out to improve the areas where he needed to work on. Just prior and maybe just after the St Pierre fight, Hardy was the P4P British No 1 MMA Fighter, both in stature and popularity and had took over Bisping in that role. Now, god knows where he lies. Hes now been offered one more fight with the UFC but isnt sure on when he wants to take it. Hell Dan, get an opponent booked sharpish for the UK event over here, fight in front of your home crowd, feel the atmosphere and the reason why so many fans turn out to watch you and hopefully you might be able to restore some of the pride you showed prior to the St Pierre fight which in all honesty, looks like its derailled your career when it should have done totally the opposite.

| I suspect Hardys been given 1 more fight for that reason...the UK card! If he turns it down i expect that would be the last of him in the UFC.
For me he just hasnt developed at all since the GSP fight...iv always prefered Paul Daley to be honest and i think if Lytle would have stood an banged with him it would have been Lytle on the losing end well before the 3rd round....very disapointed with Hardy and even if he is on the UK card i reckon they will give him a bum.

| It appears to me, as though Hardy is working so hard at other areas of his game, that he's neglected his hands, hence he doesn't look as good in the stand up as he used to.
It'd have been interesting to see what would have happened had it gone the distance though. I had the fight 1-1 going into the last round, it was a lot closer a fight than many gave credit for.

I would of had it 29 28 Lytle on points...caught Hardy with a lot more as the fight went on.....as for concentrating on other areas of his game i fail to see any improvement what so ever since the GSP fight....4 fights against a variety of skilled opponants and has looked out of his depth on each occasion....no takedown defence/attack, no ground game, strikings gone backwards... Might do well in K1!

| It has to be said...Anderson Silva is by far and away the best fighter the world has ever seen! He just beats up the best in the world and makes it look so easy!
I thought Ross Pearson was robbed in his fight, had him winning 29-28, classic case of homer judges!
Would also like to thank which idiot bookie gave me odds against on Nogeuira, was always a class above!
Good news for UFC 138...Pascal Kraus is injured, and replaced by Matt Brown! I love watching Matt Brown, he's just a horrible bloke, always comes for a great brawl!

| Diego Sanchez has broke his hand and will be replaced by Josh Koscheck to fight Matt Hughes in a few weeks. Is it possible to root for the draw in a fight?!
