Sums Brown up to be fair. He would have been decent for a couple of goals, although hardly inspiring it's another body.

A lot of the goals conceded was from silly errors in midfield like giving the ball away in stupid positions etc. The only game that Turner was really outplayed was against Man City which Robinho had him in his pocket that day

How highly do you rate him in terms of English Centre Backs? and state the ones you think are better than him...

Obviously not as good as Terry, Ferdinand or Carragher. Think he is on par with the likes or Jagilka, Davies, Upson. If he performs like he did last season for Sunderland ( when he signs for them ) he should get in the world cup squad.

He isn't [ithat[/i bad. Has 10 good games then an absolute brain fart always seems to outweigh the good stuff for his critics.

I don't mind Turner, I just think he's average. He's pretty slow, doesn't read situations particularly well and he seems a pretty poor 1 on 1 defender. He'd probably be improved around better players, but I just don't think he's good enough.

Hes not the quickest ill give you that.. Hes reads the game sowell which makes up for his lack of pace, not many players beat him 1 on 1 ( can only think of Defoe thats really done him 1 on 1 TBH ).

All definitely better than Turner. Bramble...er... that's questionable.
