Different kettle of fish this season, they've finally developed the ability to win the scrappy games as well as pass teams off the park.
No games for me today, next stop Burscough on Tuesday evening.

Exeter City fan here. You may find the trophy a mixed blessing, witness the ridiculous scheduling of your match v us, 2 days after your game v Turks.
Its all very complicated, your team will be knacked, so gives us the edge.
We all want to see the Turks stuffed, but part of us wants them to go all the way, and get into more fixture congestion, because we are hoping to catch them.
Many travelling Grecians regard the York away as the best one of season, the London exiles actually sponsor the game, and have hospitality. Many have prebooked weekend accomodation, etc, and cannot cancel, so are somewhat peeved at the switch.
Personally speaking, I am desperately trying to organise a very flying visit to game, staying at Mums (in Headingley)
You guys have pulled the season back from relegation, to near playoffs.
Well done.

This is true, however the ridiculous scheduling big has bitten once again. Torquay can't play us on Saturday because Plymouth are at home. Torquay get their stewards off Plymouth, so at little more than a week's notice, our game... away at Torquay.... is on a Friday fecking night.
Sure, we get an extra day before the Exeter game, but I'm stuffed for going to Devon with such little notice. I suspect I'm not the only one.
Anyway, defeat yesterday has quashed any hope of the play-offs. Another year of this tin-pottery beckons. Easy league to drop into is this, but it's a proper barsteward to get out of. Though I'm sure an Exeter fan doesn't need telling that.
Maybe see thee Monday week squire

| Played off the park by Burton tonight, but came away with a point. We'll have to be ten times sharper for Torquay.

| Here's a little spot test:
Which of these offences is more serious:
a) Venting your frustrations at a credible penalty claim going against you
or
b) Punching somebody in the face?
Guess which one the referee in the Farsley - Rushden & Diamonds match picked.
I don't think I've ever laughed at a referee because my own player didn't get sent-off!
In the end, Farsley finished with 9-men and lost 1-0 to a very poor Rushden side. Had we kept 11 on the field, I've no doubt that we'd have got three points.

| FC Utd through to the final of the Presidents cup. Re-instated after losing the quarter final 5-1, FC won 3-1 at Goole today. Special mention to the 50-100 Leeds fans who turned up singing Munich songs. ![Rolling Eyes icon_rolleyes.gif](//www.rlfans.com/images/smilies//icon_rolleyes.gif)

Long journey home, can't wait for this season to be over. At least Hinckley's catering is bloomin' good, I suppose.

Bloody brilliant that was. Cambridge sucked!!
Just a shame about the other results. The game on tuesday is a massive one now.
Cambridge fans were a right miserable set of swines.

| Funniest thing I've seen at football for years last Monday. You know that Blue Square thing they put across the tunnel at televised games? Young mascot runs towards it, hits it and bounces backwards off it. Hence the look of mirth on the players faces when they ran out.

| First clean sheet for RMI since mid-September in beating Alfreton 1-0 today in front of an encouraging (for us, at least) crowd of 225, a lot better than might have been expected a couple of months ago.

| That referee at the york game today was bloody appauling. Booked the wrong player, missed an elbow on Brodie and made the seemingly straightforward substition of players into an epic farce. Not to mention the other bewildering decisions he made. How he got such an important game i have no idea

I take that comment back, it sucked. Eccy lost 2-0 on a swamp of a pitch and it was just a really bad game!

He's football league as well. Had a shocker. As clear cut a penalty when Woolford got tripped.
But for all that, I'm really proud of the players. The commitment can't be questioned. Torquay did what they had to - men behind the ball, protect that 2-0 lead - and we couldn't break them down. Think McGurk was surrounded by defenders in the area and went down between two of em. Penalty we thought? But no it was a free kick apparently to Torquay, with no booking for McGurk so he couldnt of dived. Was mystifying. How close was that header by the Torquay lad headed back to the keeper? Could of been a truly comical equaliser, especially after the 1st OG
