Any fan that wants him back is going with the belief in their heart and not their head. The club are now about to go through a long transitional period, where getting the club to be balanced off the field and financially will be the most important thing. Rafa will come in and want everything his way, he will want the club to be led his way, the type of player to be brought in must be his type, etc.

Simply put, Liverpool need a Wenger (if there are any out there?) not a Benitez, as the emphasis on youth and developing youngsters will be one of the biggest requirements of our manager, something I feel Benitez generally struggles with. If only van Gaal wasn't on the verge of retirement...
