As for your new stadium i just looked it up and it's going to have a retractable roof which is the best way to go as I think american football should be played outdoors the way it was invented but you'll also be able have indoor events with the roof closed.

We are fine at LB so unless we want to replace Hawk or he falls massively I don't see us taking him.

I wouldn't want to anyway. He comes out of the whole situation pretty poorly. If he was hoaxed and knew absolutely nothing about it then at best he is naive (before you even get to why wouldn't he visit his girlfriend in hospital/go to the funeral/visit her family etc). If it turns out he knew about it, either entirely or part way through, and went along with it then that is obviously a ridiculous thing to do.

I think he must have known, like you said pal, to have leukaemia and to have been in a car crash and not to feel the need to go visit her. It's gonna be a strange draft as it is with no clear no1 pick.

Not good enough from us either, the offense was shocking and never got going. No excuses though we lost to the better team on the day and Flacco was brilliant in the 2nd half.

I am pleased the 49ers got there for a few reasons.

It may quieten the luddites dismissing the read option and pistol as gimmicks.

Also, Ryan Kerrigan* and London Fletcher make the pro bowl as alternates.

However, Doug Martin undersevedly is 1st alternate for Gore meaning Alfred Morris, the second leading rusher in the whole league and the spearhead of the league's number 1 rush attack is, apparantly, the fifth best runner in the NFC. Hmmmm, riiiiiight. Morris should have been ahead of Gore anyway but come on.

*This means that each of Shannahan and Allens first round picks have now made the pro bowl and shows that the Snyder and Cerrato era is, thankfully, now a dim and distant unpleasant memory.

That's more than a bit rich coming from a fan of a team coached by Belichick and with Brady at QB....
