Limited talent (by NFL standards), poor attitude apparently.
Word gets around coaches and owners, I'd be surprised to see him land on anyone's final roster for 2010,

How about sending him to the Colts and letting him see how Peyton Manning does things ? Or New England ?

I couldn't think of a worse team for him to end up on.
The Vikes have a stable QB group. Favre may or may not come back but they have Jackson and Rosenfels (and IIRC did have a young QB also Booty) who are all better than Russell.
Secondly they play indoors so his strong arm isn't necessary for the Vikes.
I think he'll have played a game, or featured, for Buffalo before the season is over.

| Got beat by Manchester (and the refs) yesterday. 26-20. Gutted. 0-2 start to the season, but we plan to put that right against Hull.

| Had a very satisfying Madden match this morning, played as the Raiders against a guy using the Steelers who ran nothing but Wildcat, 3 Wide and Goal Line. Managed to stop his Wildcat at the 3rd attempt using the 46, and proceeded to put 50 points on the guy before he disconnected.

| I know it's been out there for a while (i've had exams so not been on much), but Cushing retaining his DRoY award is ridiculous after he failed a drug test. While there is no proof yet he took steroids (there are pictures of him months apart that look bad and the rumours have been around long before his positive test) the substance is a know masking agent for steroid users when coming off a cycle from what i've read. It can also arise naturally in the body but it has been said that it may not be likely given that he failed one test and passed the rest.
Whether he failed the test because he is taking steroids or because it occured naturally i think it is wrong he retains his award, because either way he has a banned substance in his body. They should have stripped it from him and given it to Byrd.

I agree
I think they are just waiting for another test to come back before they do strip him of it though surely?
I cant say Im suprised with the 2 fat boy Viking players getting away with it for years seemingly unpunished

No, they have already had a re-vote and he has retained it. I think he got 39 votes originally and now he's on 18 votes with Byrd on 12 and Matthews on 11 or something like that.
I really hope he hasn't been on 'roids because there were rumours when they were at USC that him and Clay Matthews were doing it. Obviously at that time the comments were unsubstantiated and i'm pretty sure Cushing threatened to sue one of the websites who made the comments.
I think it is also slightly different for the Williams sisters, they should definately be banned and possibly other sanctions, but as far as i know the susbtance they had, while a banned substance is only used for weight-loss etc and has no steroid effects. (I may be wrong).

Maybe the Williams sisters should have tried to lose weight the right way and not, seemingly, use aids to help them.
