Absolutely huge game for Lancashire starting today. If we can beat Worcestershire and beat them well, then we're in a bloody good position going into the last three games, especially with the first of them being away at Worcestershire.

So we'll probably bat and be 5 down by the end of the first session.

I'll be amazed if Worcs win this now. I'd give them about a 20/1 chance, if that. They've repeatedly collapsed from promising positions all season; they've got a poor tail, all their top order batsmen are out. I wouldn't have fancied them even before those late couple of wickets went down, and on a general point I think people underestimate how hard it is to chase down 300+ batting last.

It's a sad state of affairs when I'm having to will Lancashire on to victory.
