you know, i don't think bisping in any of his UFC fights has actually looked anywhere near as good as he did in the TUF series, iirc he's been lucky to win a couple of matches by (contentious) split decisions.
Just looking at him last night, it looked a complete mis match.

i believe dana's got a similar view to me, seeing as he chewed lesnar out backstage afterwards.

Dana would. He only cares about the dollar. Brock imo was well within his rights to stick it to the idiots in the crowd and Mir who acted like an utter fool in the build up to this match.
Who is going to be able to take Brock? Maybe Gonzaga? Big guy with ADCC level BJJ?

TUF is a whole lot lower skill level then fighting in the UFC proper. Hendo is a great fighter. Makes what Anderson did to him look even more impressive.

Perhaps, but I doubt it. I reckon a powerful striker would be a better bet; Mir stopped Lesnar in his tracks for a moment in the second round, perhaps he could be got at. I can only think that Fedor would fit the bill. Of course, he is not a UFC fighter.

| I think Cain Velasquez if he keeps on his way could provide Brock with a bit of trouble, he's a couple fights off though yet I reckon. Thing is with Brock he's so big and dominant on the ground that once he's on top he's difficult to shift, there arn't many fighters around that can match him for power, but Velasquez is a top wrestler with excellent technique, he's also got some power of his own.
I'd like to see a striker have a go aswell.

Cain Velasquez is a smaller version of Lesner. Lesner would take him down and club him to death like he has in his previous 3 fights.

Maybe, but Velasquez is a top class wrestler though, I don't it would be as easy as you think. It's not always about the size and power, technique plays a major part and Cain is as good a technical wrestler as you will find.

Lesner has better wrestling. Add in the weight and strength advanatge and you get a result very similar to last night.

Perhaps he is/does, I'm not denying that at all. But as I'm sure you know MMA doesn't always work out in favour for the bigger, heavier, stronger and 'better'(Using that lightly) skilled man though. If somebody has a good array of skills, as CV does then it's well within them to create their opponents problems. I think it would be a good bout.
I reckon they'll meet sometime in the near future anyway, gimme a nod and we'll place a wager if your on for it.

Lesnar is a former all American Wrestler. It would take someone with great wrestling skills (Or/And a bit of luck to beat him)

| as soon as ufc can get a hold of fedor then lesnar will be beat, fedor is an absolute monster and is twice the fighter of lesnar. its just a case of can dana white get him in the fold.
bisping could be a great fighter if he dropped wolfslair and moved to the US to train there permanently, but until then he won't go any further.

| Oh dear!
I've had reservations for a while as to how good Bisping is, the obvious answer after seeing him fight Hendo is, not very!
He's a victim of his own hype, back the midcard Michael.
