Yup, patch 9.1

Absolute nightmare to download though with my security settings, guess it would help if i knew how to turn them off!!

Should have got a mac

Should have downloaded the game instead of buying it. Comes with the latest version already. Thats what has caused us an issue.

4 of us playing online, 3 bought theirs and had version 9 and 1 downloaded his and came with version 9.1

3 of us now have to download the patch for us to be able to play a networked game! Pain in the ar*e!

Personally i would prefer to have a physical copy although other people might think differently.

Mine was tongue in cheek, as it was only after 5 days the mac to make the game playable was out for Mac. Then the game wouldn't start



Still, making up for it

Every time i go onto tactics during a game, and i have an attacking midfielder and striker, then it says i have 2 of them in both positions. Does this happen to anyone else? It's very annoying.

Yeh also happens to me. For example if I put Cahill in the AMC position then it shows 2 of the AMC position and 2 of the striker aswell. So it shows like 2 Cahill's and 2 Yakubu's.

Yeah, thats what i mean, does it to me. Also, every so often, the screen just goes black and then it comes straight back on.

I sold Manuel Fernandes to them for 15m on my game, straight cash, and to be honest, looking back now, I probably should have got more.

I've recently sold Rafael Sobis to them for £25.5m, I bought him for 4 or 5m the year before. 21m profit after only a year at the club, not bad.

I have just changed to a attacking 5-4-1 at home which seems to be working and the usual 4-4-2 for away games. Hope that helps

Look for a 20 yrd old Brazilian AMC called Santana, plays for Vitoria I think, signed him for Leicester in League One. Paid about 4.5 million for him and the guy is class.

I've got 42 Leagues running.

Well at the 7th attempt at trying, I'm hoping to get my Dudelange (Luxemburg) team into the Champions League on my Fifa Manager 08 game. Failed the first 2 times, and then 3 times I got to the group stage of the Uefa Cup, and one more time I got to the first knockout round after the group stage. Also in my 6 seasons I have won the league 6 times, only losing 3 times in that time. Also won 5 cups, should have won 6 but had a shock hammering one season in the 1/4s. Also gone from a 4k capcity stadium, getting crowds of just over 1k, to having a 34k+ stadium, a league average attendance of 13.6k and expanding again to over 40k due to the fact I have now sold out the ground for my Champions League qualifier against Dinamo Kiev.
In my first few seasons my team didnt have a player younger than 31 in it, but not it is deemed too young after bringing through some good talent, getting the cream of the crop from the rest of the league, and after a few seasons, younger players wanted to come to my club, but only those out of contract.
I also own the club.
Away from the field, I have a lovely wife in Tara, who is pregnant with our third child. We have a 3 year old son called Lewis jnr, and a 1 year old son called Boris. I would have been able to buy a tropical island for us all by now but every year I decide to pump money into the club so that I can spend more developing the ground and the facilities. Although I dont really need it as I would make profit anyway, mainly due to European football and the millions I make from sponsorship.
I also had a not so succesful spell with Croatia, and then took charge of the Japan side who, after winning 1 and losing 2 in the World Cup, didnt have a game for 2 years which meant I wasn't needed. I'm now in charge of an extremely young Luxemburg team, who although not as good as other nations yet, have some serious talent such as Pascal Guily (lvel 82, my second best player at Dudelange) and the only way is forward.
I could have left the club by now, having offers from Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Inter Milan and a whole host of other German, Spanish, French and Italian clubs, but I will not sell Dudelange until I have took them to the Champions League and won a group stage game then maybe that will be as far as I can take them due to the limitations of the Luxemburg League.

Why?

Dident start my chelsea season because i wanted more of a challenge. So ive gone with Wolverhampton Wanderers instead.

Chelsea - Top of Premiership (Hard league)

The Championship is not easy! There is about 10 teams that can gain promotion. Then if i achieve promotion, i've then got to stay and fight for my survival.

Thats harder than playing in Europe every year with Chelsea.
