The Other Nikki runs tonight in the 7.06 at Nottingham Tr 6 will be away early but hopefully she can do as she did when she won 2 weeks ago chase down the outside dog but again it is all down to her avoiding a bash at the bend. Staying is her thing if she gets a clear run even at A1 there are not many dogs she can not pick up at the track (at least in BAGS A1 which is probably a shade below A1's off the BAGS which are basically Open Class) its just a case of is she unlucky or is it part of her make up that she looks for trouble or perhaps is not big or strong enough to ride a bump though I guess the fact shes only finished last twice in her life sort of knocks that theory on the head as whatever happens she does not stop racing and goes for it to the end.

The fact she keeps improving her times at the off means one day surely she will cut loose and they will not see her for dust....hoping its tonight.....and we are going



Post predict 4/1, would be happy with that but think 7/2 as the bookies seem to respect the trainers dogs even though they do not seem a gambling kennel and their small string have been in great form in the last few weeks.

Finished 3rd Racing Post claims clear run but she got checked at the first bend (not her fault) and seemed to try to run into Tr 1 (hard to call but probably was to blame as there was loads of space to go around the other dog) at the last turn but really should have held onto second place but I guess to get in trouble on 2 of the 4 bends you can not expect it not to take something out of her.

Sunderland Tomorrow looks top class but perhaps not great betting heats apart from the 2 finals.

Going for Blood Of Kings in the Classic and Wordsandatune in the grand Prix but that looks well tricky with 4 middles and one wide seed. He did the business from Tr 3 in the semi so hopefully Tr 2 will not inconvenience him too much.

Ardkill Tunoco, Bubbly Eagle, Hurleys Hero and Glenroe Ginger should all win on the under card but will all be odds on and you can almost be certain one or two of them will miss out. Officer Donagh did me a favour last Sky meet but banking on a sprinter is risky and not sure how Sunderland sprints pan out (they do not have many of them).

Take early prices as well as Sunderland bookies are notoriously tight with betting percentages and you can almost guarentee that all runners will go off shorter than the best prices offered in the morning.
