More to do with the fact Flacco missed the open receiver a good 5 times, he made shocking decisions all night - Cromartie & Wilson were nothing short of garbage and Cam Cameron was just daft to keep calling strong dives on first down every series. The idea the Defences were on top is just a myth, it was 2 poor offences making them look great, any good team would have ripped them both to shreds.

Leonard covering Gronkowski? he doesn't have a chance, he's giving up nearly a foot in height, and who is going to cover Welker, Edelman & Hernandez?

If they play that poorly again, they will struggle to get to .500.

Not to mention I meant on this weekends performances, the Patriots were great, the Jets & Ravens were terrible. On that performance, my prediction of the Jets going 8-8 is looking quite safe.

I personally really enjoyed the Jets-Ravens game. Was smash mouth defensive football. As I said the Jets offense struggled and will do until Sanchez finds a groove and I'm still to be convinced he actually has a groove. Cromartie is going to struggle this season as he is constantly going to get targeted.

It was pretty impressive from the Ravens though. The O didn't really fire but they should have had more points and were missing the great Ed Reed from their defense. They won't be far away at seasons end.

In fantasy land I'm 1-0 in all my leagues

Though San Diego lost me £10 of my Sunday night profit I still made a nice sum on the weekend in total.

Cromartie was a really poor pick up by the Jets. He's still living on that one big season. He is soft as sh*t and a dreadful tackler. Playing opposite Revis he is going to have a long season.

Really bad news about Grant for us. He has done something to his ankle, which requires surgery (and pins) and also fractured his fibula near the knee. He is a good player and we'll miss him. Given the system we run you'd think we could cope fairly well without a RB, given we are primarily a passing team, but Grant is very key to our team. Without him we look pedestrian with no running game. He is 4th in rushing yards since 2007 behind Peterson, Jones and SJax.

As for his replacements, i wouldn't really make a move for B-Jax, he has looked far from good, except in pass protection, in all his years here. We looked average when he was in during the 2nd half of the Eagles game and he isn't explosive.

Other options include:
James Starks- talented RB we drafted in the 7th, but is/was injured. He is on the PUP, i think he may have been on it since camp which means he can be activated at any time. Otherwise obviously it is week 6 before we get Starks.

Rumours right now on various forums are linking us with trades for either Tashard Choice or Marshawn Lynch.

We are supposedly as we speak picking up a guy from Atlanta's practise squad called Dimitri Nance but we have a shortage of RB's so I really wouldn't be suprised to see us making a move for somebody else.

Damages our SB chances unless we get somebody decent in and i've very sceptical as to whether that guy can be B-Jax.

You can have Laurence Maroney infact we will give you him and a 1st rounder
