McClain to Oakland is actually a very good pick, yes he may be a bit high, but I'm perfectly happy taking the new coming of Ray Lewis instead of an overrated lineman for once. Some reports that the Raiders may go to a 3-4, whereas I think it's more likely that Kirk Morrison is dealt to a team who were looking for a MLB. (Step up Giants & Cardinals)

Could still get Bruce Campbell in the 2nd round now I think, maybe Charles Brown or Roger Saffold as well.

I think we must have traded Davis to Jacksonville when we got Quentin Groves.

Just watched some highlights, the kid looks quality in coverage, blitzing and on special teams (few blocked kicks, a few return TD's and a forced fumble on a punt return

I have no doubts that he is a good player but I would rather have had a top quality WR like Bryant for when Moss leaves after next season, I must admit I thought we would have got him since we failed to even try and get Boldin/ Marshall.

T. Holt is a good addition for backup but surely him and Patten are not going to be our only new WR`s to come into the team this year? Patten is well past it and I just dont think he will be up to the job especially when Welker could well miss a bit of the season



Staying on the subject of Dez Bryant what does this mean for Roy Williams, hes still earning a boat load so surely Dallas will want rid? especially with Miles Austin coming through

Be pretty pleased with that. We have holes all over. Picking up a few extra picks and drafting well may well give us half a chance at doing something this year. We have a pretty good schedule. Hope we don't expect too much too soon from Bradford though. Just give him the time to grow into the job.

I think my ideal draft for us now would be Sergio Kindle (Round 2), Toby Gerhart (Round 3) and Myron Rolle (Round 4).

Although i expect us to go O-Line again soon to protect Rodgers.

Pretty much guaranteed that the Rams will trade down, Devany has said unlikely they remain there and apparently 12 teams have contacted them.

I wonder if we'll start with Bradford. Like I said before I think we should grab another wide receiver. Despite our offensive woes, our offensive line was actually better than a lot of people would think. The only problem was having Bulger and Boller behind centre and not enough quality/healthy wide receivers.

I read that Steve Young said on the broadcast he was with (i'm not sure whether this is correct by the way) that he doesn't think Bradford will be ready to start. I think you bench him for half a year or so and let him get ready. You don't want David Carr 2.0 getting beaten up so badly, especially when he has already had two operations on his shoulder, when lets face it, your not going to do anything next year.

Incidently i'm suprised it didn't reflect badly on Trent Williams that the guy he's been protecting in college has played 2 games this year and had two shoulder operations.

I expect our starting WR to be Austin and Williams. Bryant will do what Miles Austin did this season and progress in.

Expect plenty of singleback set ups.

With us being in the NFC West, it wouldn't surprise me if we managed to stumble to some sort of respectability. I've watched the Rams long enough now to be predicting another top 10 pick next season though.

I agree that I don't think he'll start straight away but when you have the number 1 pick for a QB, if the losses keep coming and the offense keeps stuttering, the fans will start to clamour for him to start. Looking forward to seeing how things pan out tonight with the next couple of rounds.

Agreed, especially with you guys (no inherent disresprect intended) being a franchise considered by many to be a possible to move to LA it is going to be big pressure to get Bradford in for a number of reasons.

Really interested to see how these things pan out in this round. There are plenty of players considered first round calibre that are still available. With the time between rounds i think we could see a lot of trades maybe involving 2011 first round picks.

Saffold is a good pick for the Rams, I can see them going WR or TE soon.
