Was it fixed to have the Bournemouth game midweek?

It seems to be the case, bit of a coincidence that it was on a cold Tuesday night wasnt it

. Although I'm suprised if its true, since the incident at Bournemouth was 17 years ago!

Bournemouth asked for the fixture to be on a Tuesday night in case their were any ill feelings 17 years on.

Same way that a lot of flashpoint games are on a Tuesday night.

What was fixed was another man being sent off against Leeds United.

a good 2-0 home win against Hartlepools last night with both strikers scoring.we missed a hatfull of other chances though & should have run away with this 4 or 5-0

since we got a triffick 1-0 win at Swansea on friday i think i'll resurrrect this thread.

. I have been avoiding this thread so as not to jinx the small run of success we are having at Crewe.

Haven't lost since 13th October with four wins and a draw in the league and an FA Cup win in that period. It has brought a bit of cheer to Gresty Road but is not enough, as yet, to persuade the stay away fans to return.

With Forest up next I doubt that our winning streak will last but you never know.

I was so tempted to put a bit of money on Leeds to be champions before the season started, as the odds were so long. so gutted I never now (only didnt because I couldnt be bothered to wait until May to find out if I'd won

Good result for you and on balance, deserved.

Bit of a stop/start match, long periods of near terminal boredom interrupted by the odd highly entertaining passage of play.

Terrible mistake by the Crewe keeper to let Gills open the scoring. Couple of Crewe goals either side of half time, nowt spectacular but the opportunities were taken well. Dodgy penalty decision let Dickson level things up but his second goal was a beauty - can't argue with that.

Crewe were too sloppy in defence and if Dickson had played the last 15 minutes with the same energy and effort he put into the first 75 then you may have finished with a larger winning margin - he had the chances but looked too knackered to convert them.

Just got back from the game, Leeds were extremely poor in the First Half and Huddersfield should have gone into Half Time leading had they shown more composure the Leeds defence was at 6's & 7's at times.
The second half was a huge improvement and Jermaine Beckford was excellent as for Tresor Kandol he doesn't impress me at all and once again got himself a stupid booking.

The Football Association have charged Gillingham, chairman Paul Scally and striker David Graham in relation to Graham's move to Priestfield in August.

We do need to stop getting behind in games though. Fighting back for a draw is all very well, but the teams around us are winning games and while I would fancy us in the playoffs, I'd rather go back up automatically. I hope the early season fire has not burned out.
