Missing with small niggling injuries are prop Paul Prescott and centre Martin Gleeson who pulled out of the squad on Saturday to be replaced by Cameron Phelps. Paul Deacon is making good progress but is still not quite ready.

I posted that Phelps had been dropped earlier in the week but then it was announced he had a niggling injury which my horse still says is incorrect! Same last week Coley was rested yet its announced in the paper he had a "niggling injury". Think there is a pattern emerging!!

What's Marsh like? I take it a 100% Marsh (albiet on his debut) is better than a 90% fit Gleeson?

Lets bear in mind Leuluai and Coley are back and we're taking a bit of a gamble with them.

Not sure how to feel about our lineup, could be worse without leaulai, but I think we'll miss gleeson. Good luck to marsh, hope he has a cracking debut!
On a side note, i'm sat next to the Huddersfield team, and the stadium is pretty empty. Seems a lot of our fans are spread out.

I have no idea if Marsh is playing, i for one have no inside knowledge at all, but i would desperately like to see him get a chance. He has a bit of pace which could help us on the large pitch

Not sure what phelps did to be dropped but marsh was v good.

He most certainly was. A very solid debut from the kid is all that can be asked really. He came into the side and shored up our defensive problems from last week.

I was a little worried during the first 10 mins as they seemed to be making a fair few yards down his side but he really stepped it up after that and was unlucky not to score in the corner.

I certainly wouldn’t be rushing to include Gleeson in the side next week against Widnes if I was Madge. Give the kid back to back first team games and see how he goes.

I thought Karl Pryce was also solid if unspectacular today. Part of me was happy he didn’t have a blinder as he’d probably struggle to back it up the week after but he’s got plenty of positives to take away from that game as well as some things to work on as well. I really hope he can take confidence from the way he played today and build on it next week.

I agree with this, lets leave Gleeson out and get him fully fit.

As for Pryce, I hope he can kick on next week.
