for a seat in the west stand.
How much do we charge for the same standard of seat I have a season ticket so do not know how much it is to pay on the gate I am certain its not £24.00

Complete rip off. You can watch Premiership football at that price.

It's £13 to sit in the away stand at the JJB I think. And only about £16 in the West stand.

That is shocking, we should still fill their away stand as we normally do though, how many does it hold? Around 3000?

Which is even more of a rip off!!! so what! Id rather pay £50 to watch a good derby in super league than be paid £50 to watch United V Liverpool!!!

It is a pee take but its supply and demand and wire know with their poxy ground on this occasion demand vastly outstrips supply. Unfortunally you just have to grin and bear it.....at least it will be a good game which is more than can be said for premiership soccer!!

This is WAY too much for a RL game. OK, they've got a great little stadium, but there's no parking, they take the lids off your coke bottles, they have stewards who love getting you to not stand on a yellow line, there are no seats and you still get wet when it rains. It takes ages to get out of the area, and you risk being bombed off the bridges on the Newton Road.
All this said, it's still a game I like going to, but I'm sorry, two tickets for nearly £50? No chance.

Wire are just a taxman's knock on the door away from oblivion. I suppose they are just desperate to recoup some cash somehow.

Have they been charging the same for every other game? Or have they put the prices up cause we are in town?

We at Wigan are one the cheapest tickets prices, so we have to grin a bear it when we travel away.

Thought why do we not charge away fans the same they charge us at their ground?.

They keep lids on bottles now, the Bradford touchjudge incident was a while ago now

Its the same if your a quin fan or wigan l fan uckly in SL they dont charge diffrent prices for differant teams.

I think £17 behind the sticks at Wire is very reasonable. IMO it's probably the most fan friendly ground in SL.

- it's got a roof.
- deep steps (good for shorts like me

).
- terracing (prefer standing anyway).
- good refreshments (2-pint pots

).
- you can take your ale into the stands.
- always a good atmosphere.
- easy to get away from when the Wigan Walk is needed


- there's even room for flags up at the back of the stands.

Certainly beats £18 at Wakey, £20 at Leeds/HKR, etc.

The seating prices are steep, but that's the cost of supporting your team. If you can't afford it stand, if you don't want to pay it don't go. Simple.

That is a bit pricey, especially for the people of Wigan who are on low wages compared to their Warrington equivilants.
