I don't think there's any need to be bolshy about it. I don't recall anyone calling him a saviour. In fact opinions have been dividied healthily as to how much he'll be worth to us.

Most folk feel he'd be a useful acquisition given his Wigan origins (a very important issue for a lot of fans on here), the fact that he's a tried and tested GB centre, the fact that he's one of the few GB players in recent years not to be embarrassed by the Aussies, and the fact that we're crying out for a specialist centre on the right-hand side.

It may go t1ts up. He may not sign. Everyone's aware of these possibilities. But if he does sign, it will improve us in certain ways.

From what I've read, that's all most people are saying.

Then sadly you know nothing about the game even on an off day he is better than Bailey or Goulding in that position and we would have someone who could give Roberts the space he needs and the ball delivery he need.

Gleeson is credited with 4 try assists in his 6 games this season.

Goulding with 6 try assists in his last 34 games over the last 4 seasons.

People seem to be scared of getting excited in case they are let down and trying to either dismiss the speculation or make a joke out of it.

It's clear as mud that there has been talks between the clubs and player, so the rumours can't be disregarded.

As I and many people have mentioned, whether it comes off is another story.

so why we happy for another when we have loads?

Well we will have to disagree on that one but i think the majority on here feel he would improve the side no end
