Not are in Charnleys league.'"
Fully agree tbh.
If we go into next season with Joel in one centre slot and intend to use one of Marsh, Goulding or Pryce in the other i'll really worry for our chances. I'm a big fan of Joel and think he can really nail the position but he needs time and a quality centre on the other side to take a little bit of pressure off.
IMO Goulding is a winger and a winger only and I believe Marsh may have to go the same way unless he can get his head up when in possession of the ball and Pryce should be released at the end of this season.
I again agree that Charnley is the best of those named and i'd feel a little more comfortable with him in the centre but still i'd like someone with a little bit more experience on one side. I can accept Joel and Charnley vying for one centre slot but wouldn't like to think we'd take the gamble of them being first choice 3 and 4.

we shouldnt be going into next year with joel as a centre. full stop. the guy is one of the best backrowers in the league and we need to be thinking more like hoffman out, joel back to his rightful place. yes it means recruiting at least 1 centre but the club knew this when they let gleeson go.

| I'll have Vaeliki back before cheering for that lump. Pryce is a big, mobile player, who has the ability to be a great player. However his enthusiasm is shocking, playing for Wigan is almost a chore to him.
Completely off topic, is there any chance Piggy would come back. Really miss that fella.

Although I see your point, I'd argue that Pryce's performances last year were solid at worst, could you say the same about Vaeliki? It annoys me that he looks uninterested, but a certain back slapping happy clappy full back seemed to celebrate better than he defended, I'd rather have solid performances and a face like a smacked than an eager player who puts in poor performances.

0/10.
Is that the Justin Hodges who signed a new 3 years deal with the Broncos only last week?
I only said this last week but the first rule of trolling is to get the basic facts right first otherwise you look like a right plank.

| I dont often have bad words to say about Wigan players BUT , Marsh will never make a centre , the guy does not know how to pass to his winger. He is terrible. If he gets a chance at centre , his winger might as well pack up and go home

And the same Justin Hodges who is currently injured. He seems to suffer a lot of injuries.

| Not one to usually to hear rumors. But heard today that were looking at Brett Kearney at Bradford. Only signed a two year deal at the Bull's at the start of the 2009 season so OOC at the end of this year.

Not a signing I'd be too impressed with if I'm honest.

Decent player who would offer a utility value.
Got to say that i would be underwhelmed by his possible signing though. We are the current champions and should be aiming higher than that.

I was in the pub after the game today and i was gobsmacked when the Braddy fans were telling me that Wigan are after him. Don't really know what to make of it.

| That could mean sam back in to the halves. We certainly are missing some spark in attack. Our style of 5 drives and a kick this year is very different from last year

I thought he was immense in the NRL, but having said that he does not seem to have recovered from his injury fully and has lost some of his explosive qualities that made him so good.
Would not be gutted if we were to sign him but also would not be overly excited either on using a quota spot on such a player.

| Kearney has been made to look a bit average cos he's been playing at 6 whilst Bradford were attacking, and at FB in defence. Stick him at FB always and he's a good player, he has been carrying Bradfords backline this year (and most of last when he was fit).

I don't think he has the ability to be a great player, otherwise we would have seen a glimpse of it. The world is full of 6'6" men. Why are they not on a rugby league field? Why aren't they heavyweight champions?
Because they lack agility. Every now and then along comes a tall person who can move as well as a smaller one. e.g. Mohammed Ali. And he wasn't 6'6". That's just too tall. Okay for union.
