I've heard Graham's a bad egg and would hope we stay clear. Good player but i'd imagine he causes way too much trouble behind the scenes.

Reading the thread about Mason and the link on that website it looks like Lote Tuqiri could be looking for a club.

What are peoples thoughts on him being signed instead of Carmont for next season?

Could he play centre? He's certainly strong and quick enough to make an impact?

As far as I'm aware he's only ever played wing. Remember the last experiment we had when we tried to turn a winger into a centre. Nearly ruined him.

I think he will go into the centre when he returns, played a boat load of centre in Union and also played fullback and 6 i think when he was playing for Fiji. Very skilful player destroyed the Aussies in the 95 World Cup when playing for Fiji at Gateshead.

I heard we were after him last time he became available and were intending to use him as a centre prior to signing Carmont, although I hope he does return to League I hope its not with us, a great player but getting on, we need to target young centres to replace Gleeson in a few years time, hopefully though if Pryce and Thornely develop as I think they can we will be sorted for centres for a good while yet.

I'd like to see us have one of either Pryce, Goulding or Thornley as our long term centre and then the other centre spot being rotated every 3-4 years with a world class centres like Hape, Gidley or Lyon.

One thing there isn’t a shortage of in world RL is good centres imo and we should be able to find a class player every 3-4 years.

Other than that I’m all for stability and long term development.

As far as signings go IL said more than once that we haven't signed anyone for next year yet, that doesn't mean we won't.
After today, plans on the signings front may change.

i posted on here same day as the hull kr game that a good friend of mine who works within the coaching set up of the club told me about maguire signing a 3 year contract with wane as his no 2. he also told me that the club are desperately trying to offload fielden to celtic with noble,if that turns out to be the case then we could well be in a position to recruit a top class prop.
