He was, by concentrating on his game early on in the season.
These last couple of months he's been putting the niggly shots in and his form dropped.

Tommy at 9 and Smith at 7 look the better option leading into the last 3 games of the season.

Some people here are on a wind up mission. It was no where near a sending off, it was possibly a penalty no doubt, but not a sending off. It ruined the game. Saints werent that good in attack or defence. Tbh I was expecting a thrashing when maccie went off. But it didnt come. We could of got into a 20 plus lead of Mr child wasn't directed by Mr chuckle. Keep calm and batter them in the play offs

Haven't seen the TV coverage yet, but from the big screen it only looked marginally late, and first contact to the shoulder. From the timing, I suspect it was a Ganson decision, though, not a Child one.

So 3 red cards this season.

No I have to disagree here.

It was a late, pre-meditated challenge to the head. It deserved a red.

Rules are there to enable a game of rugby to take place. Without them the game is pointless.

I could very easily get 13 "players" on the field who be perfectly able to hand the entire Wigan team their a*ses on a plate in about 2 mins. Hopeless rugby players mind, and not a great spectacle for the crowd.

It's a late shot in a derby game! I'm sick to death of the over sanitisation of RL. Everyone talks and raves about State of Origin and how it's the pinnacle of our game but the second anyone shows anything remotely physical there's an out cry over it.

Child was shocking tonight and the ovation he got at the end shows I'm not alone in thinking that. He had a very poor judgment when it came to game changing moments like a few forward passes or piggy backing Saints up the pitch.
