| Quote ="{Hogan}"It sure is an exciting couple of weeks to be a Wigan fan, sitting nicely at the top of the tree. These next 2 games will prove if we really deserve to be taken seriously.
Leeds are understrength but they seem to like playing at our place and always raise there game when doing so. It will be one hell of a game of Rugby League. We should have the power in the pack. Losing Peacock for leeds is a massive blow, true leader in every sense.
Then we have the small matter of potentially the last ever derby game at KR. An game Saints will not want to lose simple because of that. Plenty emotion, plenty rough tough stuff will be on show!
Easter Monday is also going to be a tough one for us, Wakey have been playing some good rugby so far this season with the exception of the Hudds game.
Of course we want the maximum 6 points, but i would be a happy fan with 4 points from the 6.
Bring it all on
'"
Summed up nicely there Hogan

| As Hogan just posted I'd actually add the Wakefield Easter Monday game into this "real test". Ideally we want to win all three but I've been saying for weeks that if we finish Easter top or joint top of the table I'll be really pleased. We shall see.

| 4 point from 6 and we can say with confidence we are the real deal, 6 from 6 and the RFL may as well just hand us the title now.

| The next 3 will be a good guide to how good we really are. I would take 2 wins from 3 games, i think we will beat Leeds and Wakey but lose to stains. If we win all 3 we will be leading the charge for silverware by some margin.

| If people had to pick which game they'd rather win either Leeds or Saints which would it be?
Obviously by beating Leeds we'd maintain are 100% home record, where as beating Saints would be awesome because it'd be more than likely be the last time we play them at KR.

| I think we'll beat Saints. Purely having Wane as assistant will fire the boys up immensely. We'll be more up for this derby than any in years.

Win over saints would be my choice. Weve already got a healthy lead over Leeds and with it being probably our last derby at KR it would hurt saints a lot if we beat them.

I would say the opposite, we rarely play well (or you just play better) at your place even when we have been in good form.

| If a Genie said "you can only win one of your next 3 games, which is it to be?" I would pick the Saints game.
However, I fully expect us to stuff Leeds, beat Saints and be too good for Wakefield. We have a strong squad and we will use it.

| I think we will lose to saints unfortunately, still not convinced about our away form but our home form has been superb and theres no reason why we should lose to a depleted Leeds side and Wakefield IMO.

| Leeds will up their game, even with 7-8 out injured which is a massive blow they still have some quality in their 1-17
We will be favorites which is added pressure IMO, and if we lose there will be more pressure to win a 50/50 game at best against saints

| I am not confident that we (Leeds) will get near you on Friday.
Not only do we have a fair amount of players missing through injury.
We also have the likes of Webb and Delaney clearly struggling with injuries that normally they would not be playing.
Whilst we have a good squad the team are missing specilaised wingers and a key player in Sinfield not to mention the likelihood of JP missining which will be an even bigger blow.
By rights you should win this by plenty.
Thought I would get my excuses in early.
It could be worse they could give us Silverwood to blame.

| Leeds = loss
Saints = win, edge of the seat, heart attack material type of game with just a few points in it
Wakey = Draw
hope we win all 3 but just can't see it

| big test which we should be aiming to win 3/3
we want to really put a marker down now and frighten the rest of the league. weve got the chance to, I think we will win all 3.
beat leeds this week; hopefully hudds brutal defence smashes saints all over the place on friday. go to the shed on friday and edge a close game and beat wakey to round up a great easter! we have the squad and now is the time to use it

| The next three are a massive indicator as to where we are. Also where everyone else is too.
Saints go to Hudds this weekend and that's not a guaranteed win for Saints, either way one will lose and drop down the table.
Wakey go to Wire and I can't see them winning at the HJ at all.
As for us, I think we'll beat Leeds as we do play well at home. They are usually a fast team on the back of a big pack. Their pack is missing important players and they are in trouble. A top form Wigan should see them off.
What does worry me are the number of points being conceded away from home and the soft tries being let in.
20 conceded at Wire, 22 at Bradford and 22 yesterday at Cas. If we concede 20 or 22 at Saints we'll be in big trouble.
If the coaching staff can sort that out then we really are in business.
We now have two home games out of the three and I think we'll win both. The real one we want to win and need to win is at Saints.

| I think the game against Leeds will be similar to the game against Hull FC. I think we will lose to Saints as it is there last game against us at KR, so they will not want to lose it. And then hopefully if the Saints game hasnt taken too much out of us we should beat Wakefield, even more so now they might be without Brough.
I would take 2 wins out of 3 right now, even though saying that if we lose against Saints our lead at the top will be cut.

| This is a big 10 days for us. Leeds are beatable with their injuries. the saints game i think is winnable as well. they will have ashorter turn around compared to us by having a hard game against Hudds and then we have wakefield, often a banana skin but think mm and wane will sort tyhe team out to raise to this chalange. really think we can get all 6 points and realy lay down a marker especially as we follow these games up with Salford Sheffield and quins all winnabl;e at a canter so get thye team through these 10 days and let MM rotate the team for the next few weeks so we can get everyone at 100 fit

| These next few weeks are a massive test for the players and coaches.
Having said that it's always good to point out how well we've done in the past 6.5 games we've played some good teams and had some very good results- Wire away and Hull FC spring to mind. Whilst we can't rest on these victories they were exceptional results and we should be proud to use them as bench marks for just how well we've played.
I'm confident that the significant test the next three games poses will bring the best out in our players. It's sure gonna have Wane pumped up and he'll be making sure the players are ready.
All in all I've just got a feeling that it's our time and we are gonna be in for a big & good few weeks.
