Karl Pryce scored a hat-rick, the other try scorers were Josh Veivers, Ian Thornley, Lee Mossop, Liam Farrell and Mark Flanagan. Josh Veivers kicked 4 goals.

Karl Pryce could have scored four had he not opted to pass when near enough over the line during the play. I thought he was sharp today and came up with some monstorous hits.

Tim Smith certainly ran the show as Rogues mentioned. The break in the opening minutes of the game to set up Pryce was superb. It's good to see Smith fighting for his place.

Farrell and Flanagan stood out as did Davies and Mossop too.

Wigan were dominant through out and came away with a good, solid win again.

time for some promotions?

After watching him today I have no worries about his defensive capabilities

Mossop was again brilliant always got over the advantage line.

He's looking like the next reserve player to break into the first team, i think he's ready for the step up. Will just have to wait for an opening in the backrow.

Personally, I'd have Pryce back in and Mossop is due a call up.

Mossop deserves a chance IMO and should have a crack at some point this season.

Tim Smith may have earned a spot too.

Put him in instead of Joel Tomkins, he done rag all the last few games.

Pryce should play against Barrow. He's probably bigger than their props.

The problem is he's not getting the game time he needs imo at 13. We need to use the guy more and not have him playing a role where he's running hard out wide all the time.

Compare his development to Westerman this season and you'll see the reason why we are failing as a club. Joel should not be fighting for a spot in the 2nd row.

Btw the post is nothing against Lockers who has been playing well imo this season. I just think Joel should be starting 13 this season.

Probably yes.

Lockers is a very good player and occasionally links up play as he did last night to create some space for Bailey who then drew the Hudds winger and released Roberts for his try.

BUT Wigan and England need more at 13 so lets get Tomkins in there and watch him go. Hopefully extra game time and experience will lead to him to having a lot more influence on the game.

I still say the future is bright if we get Prescott, Tomkins, O’Carroll playing more week in week out. Three excellent prospects who will make up the core of the Wigan pack for years to come

Good performance by the reserves again today, as has been mentioned before Pryce looked in good form as did Smith. Lee Mossop was superb today and must be very near to getting picked surely.

All in all a good game that was controlled pretty well by the Ref, shame it was not him last night.

I don't think many people do tbf it's the one aspect of him game where he seems imo quite strong. His tackles stick and he comes up with the occasional big hit.

The problem a lot of people have is his apparent laid back nature when taking the ball back.

End of the day if his tackles can continue to stick he must surly offer us more attacking options than Bailey does right?

Still wouldn’t mind if the Gleeson rumours are true tho. Pryce is still one imo for the future.
