Hats off to Andy for his superb organisational skills again. It was a great night & hopefully raised a few quid for displays next season. I reckon we are years ahead of any potential competition (several other clubs want to do something similar) because we are well organised with the support and commitment of a core of 15 to 20 people who are willing to make things happen and many others who chip in when they can. It takes time, effort and money to come up with ideas, source materials, pay for the stuff and take it to games home & away. The South Stand gantry idea has been nailed. Time to concentrate on displays home & away. Giant flags, 2 stick flags, long banners with messages tailored for certain fixtures, card displays etc

We need an overhead projector to make homemade banners. If anyone can get hold of one let me know.

Or have to carry them !!!!!!!

Next Thursday is the WWCF Race evening and so far at least 10 people who arrange the flags etc will be in attendance.

We will be using this event to start discussions on our plans for the WCC & Next Years SL, anyone wanting to attend this event please PM me and I'll arrange tickets.
For all those who can't make Next Thursday we will be updating you soon on the date/time of our next Meeting which is likely to be some time early December.
This will be a very important meeting as this is where the ideas,projects and decisions will be made as to what ideas will be put into Action in readiness for the WCC!
Please,Please,Please make as much effort as possible to attend as New helpers are always welcome and with all these extra ideas/flags comes extra work so were always looking for new volunteers and Helpers in whatever way possible!

Very important meeting as all Flags in production, New Flags and ideas for the WCC game will be discussed!
In addition, with a lot of ideas to put into production, once again we ask that anyone who is interested in helping out please do their best to attend.
Even if yopu only come along for a drink or too and listen to the ideas it will be appreciated as we can then get a different perspective on the ideas we have.

I was hoping to be cheeky and perhaps come along to do a voxpop for an imminent Journalism assignment. I'm studying at UCLan and I'm hoping to write a feature on Wigan RLFC but some extra audio would compliment the article itself. I know - bloody students!
